Just to keep you posted.. After filing my Claim incorrectly (interest not applied properly) the amendments have been made, and it is now with the County Court Judge (to check it I presume). Once this is done the papers should be re-issued CORRECTLY!! Although this could take upto 3-4 weeks Arrrrrghh!!. Moral of story is do it right 1st time. ;) Matt -

Please help regarding filling in the form N244 that I have to do to amend my original claim. I'm adding the calculation for the 8% interest because I forgot to in the original claim. Would this be ok please? I (we) Mr and Mrs Rodd the claimant intend to apply for an order (a draft of which is attached) that reclaim 8% interest of charges owed to me by Halifax PLC over a 6 year period of £1,163.09, because of Section 69 of the County Courts Act. I would like to re-serve my original claim including the claim for 8% interest (over the 6 years) of owed charges under Section 69 of the County Courts Act. Thanks in advance. Matthew -
can i ring and ask for it back
knobby replied to pliget's topic in Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland
No I wouldn't ring them. Just send your letter off and remember you can claim ALL your charges right up until you put your Court Claim in. OK? -
Dont worry... 1st letter for repayment gives them 14 days. 2nd letter for repayment is the Letter Before Action also gives them 14 days. Then you can file a claim at the end of 14 days either:- At your local court or Via moneyclaim. This costs but if you're on income support i dont think you have to pay (i'm not sure). Even if you do pay you will get it back Mat

Say that again. At least when I do the wifes Halicrap account I'll get it right. Thanks again Michael -
I would say file it once their 14 days are up, so that you are sticking to your timetable. Show them your serious.
