i am having the same problem, i have had a Sony vaio laptop for 2 years now, while i was using the laptop my mother managed to spill her coffee on it, not a lot as i managed to dab it quickly however the screen went black but there was still power to the laptop, i sent i off for repair a couple of weeks ago i rang and asked where my laptop was, they said they had completed the repair andf it was going to be delivered to me on the Tuesday, however it never showed so i rang and i was told it had been written off and that i would be receiving a voucher in the post, however the voucher never came, instead today i received a call from an investigator saying that my claim was denied as it was deliberate damage, i asked what was happening to it and why and he said that the people who test the laptops know when a spill has been deliberate, well obviously not as i did not intend to have to do a years of coursework again. so they said they will send my laptop back to me and also a letter from gary perrymen. can anyone help as i dont know what to do.
