  1. Hi I need help please!! I about my bad credit rating from vodafone. I delayed my final payments with vodafone for a very valid reason. The outstanding balance has been in dispute with vodafone. I should have had 2 x credits of £15 each added to my account from vodafone for not being able to use my phone during the month of May this yr. The area phone masts went down for at least a month. The fact that I could not see these credits on my online bills was the reason why I cancelled my contract and hence held this final payment back. I contacted vodafone repeatedly by phone and then got too peeved off due the lack of help from them that I reverted to e-mail to contact them and even that was to no avail they are so un professional its frightening. I did ask vodafone 6 times for hard copies of my bills to ensure that these credits were indeed made. FPC has now given me an extension 35 days pending these details being forwarded to them by vodafone. Vodafone new I had cancelled my account and therefore gave me no help what so ever and have used the system against me. All I asked them for was a copy of my bills as my online account had been closed and even to this day 4 months on I still have not received them. I basically held my final payment bak because in my eyes i was in dispute with them - now i have a bad credit rating from them. As far as i am concerned i was well within my rights to hold this money bak and indeed now a payment has been made by me but at a reduced amount due to my complaining. I have been on to equifax to explain my plight but they say they have been in contact with vodasfone and they say that the rating should be up held - amazing do i not have any consumer rights and be able to stand up for myself. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers alan What can I do?
