  1. Hi CCCS have recently updated my DMP as new debt was added to it and all creditors got a new copy of the plan last week. CCCS do not make phone calls to creditors as cos they are a charity they are unable to do so due to funds and staff levels, so all they do is send out your DMP and make your payments. They informed me that any correspondance that I get from any creditor should be copied and sent onto them. However Grattan haven't bothered to get in touch with me about anything other than to finally send a default notice and then be rude and unhelpful on the phone!! Surely they cannot discuss my personal details and account with someone else? What is a Data subject access request?!! And i am really new to all this what is this CCA everyone talks of requesting from companies? Do I need to get one and how does it assisst you?!! Many thanks I am sooo glad I found this site!!! 2. Hello again!! Last year I started using the services of the CCCS to help pay all my creditors!! (They have been fantastic!!) One of my debts was with HSBC bank and they then passed this on to a company called Moorcroft debt Recovery. Payments were made regularly until by chance I discovered I was actually £79 in credit with that account!! I rang Morrcroft to get back my money in order to pay to someone else and they told me they don't hold my money and they would have to ask HSBC if they could be authorised to give me a refund. This was in Oct 2010, I rang HSBC on serveral occassions and even went into a branch to discuss the account and they all told me that that account no longer existed and the debt as a whole had been passed to Moorcroft and any outstanding credit would be with them. I told Moorcroft this on several occassions and they denied having any funds of mine stating that they sent all my payments to HSBC immediately!!! I have been contacting Moorcroft since las Oct and it was last week when I asked for the conatact details of the department they had been sending my money to and the account number to which they had been paying that I was passed on to a manager who apparently rang HSBC there and then whilst I was on the phone and they agreed to let Morrcroft give me a refund straight away!!! I was then told that a cheque for the amount would be sent second class post, I was told this on 30th Dec 2010, cheque never arrived I rang yesterday to tell them that it hadn't arrived and they said it had gone out 2nd class on the 6th Jan 2011. They said it would take 7 days to get to me!! I still hav enot revcieved it!! I have since contacted the financial ombudsman and they have told me that I have a case and will send me relevant paperwork to pursue the matter!! Anyone else had any dealings with Moorcroft?!! Did HSBC really have my money or did Moorcroft have it the whole time?!! Why could i not have been given the account details for my debt that Moorcroft were paying? Surely that is my information?!!! How do I find out what is true and what isn't and get back my money?!!!! thanks piplehrle:???:
  3. Hi I have been using the services of a charity known as the CCCS for over a year now to pay my outstanding debts. One of the debts is to Grattan catalogue. They have been paid every month without fail. In Oct 2010 I informed them that payment would be reduced to £5 only as my hubbys wage had been messed up, I then rang them again at the beginning of Nov to tell them it had happened again but they would get around £50 after which the CCCS would revert back to the original payments they had been making. Now apparently I have just discovered that Grattan financial difficulties department put you on what they call a payment plan when you are using services of those sucha as CCCS, apparently these payment plans are temporary and need renewing every 3-6 months with Grattan!! ( I was unaware that they had even put me on a payment plan!!) As of Oct 2010 my payment plan had apparently come to an end and even though CCCS had still been making payments on my behalf without a break Grattan sent me a default notification in Dec 2010. I rang to query and they told me that I had not renewed my payment plan! I told them I was unaware I was on one and that they should have informed me that I was and informed me also when it had come to an end. Grattan have since told me on 3 seperate occasions that they don't have to tell me anything as CCCS make my payments they deal with them and not me regarding my debt?!!!!! Is this legal? I thought that by law my account could only be discussed with me? Surely they cannot just conatct other people regards my account? The debt is mine and any information or notice regarding that debt should be sent to me surely? Not only that but upon contacting CCCS i have discovered that Grattan have not made contact with them since 2009!!! Grattan have been calling and telling me to get CCCS to ring them to confirm payment arrangements I have informed them that CCCS have sent out a copy of my new DMP to all my creditors. Grattan are claiming they have not got it and htat perhaps it has been sent to their bradford address instead of their sheefield address. Even if this was the case and it has gone to bradford I fail to see what the problem is as all my other DMP were sent to the bradford address and until Oct 2010 there was never a problem!! Please help!! I am horrified that they can just call third parties and discuss my account and personal information !! Piplehrle:mad2:
