Hi, for the past year and a half I've had loads of letters from Arrow claiming I owe £831 on an Orange account from 2002 which was in an ex-girlfriends name. They say as I paid a few of the bills at the time from the same account I paid my own bill from and that she lived at my address at the time that I am liable and that orange agree. When I've talked to Orange on the phone they say they can't find anything linking both accounts so it can't be mine, but Arrow say Orange have told them it is. The first time they contacted me they told me the account was at a different address but they have swapped it to mine now. Ive contacted CCAS and they gave me the address to write to Orange asking for a dead lock letter so they can help but Orange won't reply in writing. It's now at the point where Aroow have given me 21 days to pay or they get bailiffs or court action. Any advise?
