  1. I have now sent the following email to VF - unfortunately you are limited on characters so it's the best I could write in such a way. Hi all, I've been advised on Consumer Action Group forum to contact yourselves with the code WRT135 in the body of this message. My username is tam1984 My thread is .consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?286927-Can-VF-remove-the-default-notice!(2-Viewing)-nbsp Account number: xxxxx xxxx My name is [edit]All, My problem started when I checked my credit report on experian and I discovered that I had a default notice on my account. Upon dealing with the very helful Nina (I hope that is the correct spelling) in the customer collections department she noticed an error and corrected my account to state that I didn't owe the 40.12. Now my problem is, I received a letter on 10/12/10 stating that there was a credit on my account of 40.12 I then checked my experian report but it still there, can someone advise how I can get this removed? Thanks, Thomas.
  2. Scott, Thanks for your reply, I'll get onto doing that right now! Thanks again for your time. Thomas.
  3. Sorry the title is misleading...I should have said, can VF remove the default notice! Sorry for the confusion.
  4. All, I got my credit report from experian last month after T-Mobile knocked me back for a contract and I noticed Vodafone put a default on my report, I wondered why as I've never had such a thing on my credit report before as I always tend to pay by DD and if not I mark it in my caledar to pay. Anyway, I was a bit angry at this and called VF and they said yes, you didn't pay, I said it was a DD, they said, I cancelled it, that was a lie...anyway you get the jist of it...I carried on calling and spoke to the collections dept and a wonderful woman named Nina helped, she advised that VF were at fault and noticed that I even overpaid by the last months bill! So she told me that she would get it sorted ASAP, and today, I log onto experian and notice that the default is still there, the account has been updated on 1012/2010. VF also sent me a letter yesterday to advise me that my account has been updated with 40.12 in credit. Is there anyway of having this removed from my account now that they admitted liability? I've put a screenshot of my CR (minmal details) freeimagehosting.net/image.php?b6691638fb.png Thanks for your time! Thomas.
