  1. Freds have been quite good with me. They accepted £10 a month in a £200 debt, but said they would accept £140 if I paid in one hit. I may have some extra money coming at the end of January, so will offerr £100 to clear. They are keen to get whatever they can, so I reckon they'll go for this.
  2. Advice from the National Debt Line (that I'm more inclined to take, seeing as I don't know you from Adam) is never speak to these people by phone. To be honest, it's only pay day express who are being this cheeky. All the others have been very reasonable and are happy to deal with me in any way I see fit. Apart from Quick Quid though. They are psychos.
  3. I have spoken to national debt line who have confirmed that I can insist they deal with me only by e-mail. Being called 12 times a day by them constitutes harrasment. I have been advised to report them to the OFT and trading standards if it continues. I have been in regular contact with them by e-mail but the call centre still rings me every day.
  4. Payday Express are complete idiots. Even though I have repeatedly insisted that they don't call me, they still do. Lending Stream have sent me letters but never call or respond to e-mails.
  5. Fredricksons have been quite decent actually. I was passed to them by TXTLoan. They have quite reasonably accepted £10 a month by standing order. I didn't even have to register with their website. By phone, they were w**kers. By e-mail, they've been quite nice!
  6. Yes, that had crossed my mind! Can anyone help me with these I and E forms? Do I have to fill it out? What sort of info should I give?
  7. I should be good at this! Payday Express Lendingstream Cash Choice TXTLoan Pounds til payday Mr Lender The Money Shop (Cheque cashers really) Wage Day Advance Month End Money (Payday UK in disguise) It may also be a good idea to add in other trading names i.e. 1monthloans take payments and send threats under the name Fortress Group
  8. Funnily enough, the e-mails they are sending to me, refusing contact by e-mail, say: If you have any queries, please contact our Customer Service team 24/7 via phone, email or online chat.
  9. The Money Shop have agreed a repayment loan. I wish they had offered me this a year ago!!! I'm still paying interest but it should be far more manageable than rolloing over every month. QQ: Keep e-mailing me saying call their CS line. I am remaining firm and keep telling them my offer. Does anyone know anything about Cornwall Collections? What about Fredrickson? I had a very rude bloke insisting I logged on through fredpay. I have no intention of doing this. Anyone have an e-mail for them? These income and expenditure forms, do I have to do them or can I just outline a brief list of income and expenditure? Thanks for the help given already.
  10. Can anyone help? Specifically with the Money Shop as I have a cheque to be banked today so things are a little urgent!!!
  11. Hi All I've been lurking on the site trying to work out what to do about my Payday loan issue. There is some superb advice on here. I made a decision yesterday to sort it and have spent 2 days e-mailing all my creditors (I've used the lot) offering payment plans. So now, I have questions: 1) Payday Express have asked me to do one of their income and expenditure forms. Do I have to do this? Can't I just send them something back saying, salary-expenses-payments to other creditors=what I have left for Payday Express? 2) I'm into the Money Shop (ironically, the same company as payday express) for £750 worth of cheques. How can I stop them banking them? They will be honoured by my bank surely as they are guaranteed, so cancelling my debit card won't work here. I have e-mailed them, offering a plan. Anyone have any experience of what they will do next? 3) Can I insist that all correspondence is done by e-mail? Quick Quid in particular are point blank refusing to let me discuss anything with me unless its on phone or using their online chat thing. 4) Does anyone have an e-mail address for cornwall collections? Cash Choice passed me over to them a while back. 5) What do I do about Wonga? They haven't contacted me in ages. Surely they havent forgotten me??
