  1. Thanks so they would put me into an anauthorised overdraft situation then?
  2. thanks for the response. I would have thought that the bank wold have kept the £1000 a a pended transaction until it was claimed by the casino. I dont have an overdraft and wonder what would happen if there were insufficient funds in my account when the casino did eventually decided to take the money
  3. Hello I was wondering if anyone can advise please? Last Wednesday I used my Santander Debit Card on a Online Casino. I deposited £1000 on to the Casino. My online banking showed that £1000 was immediately taken as deducted from my banking available balance. My balance was £1005 and my available balance was £5. I have checked my online banking today (Sunday) and the pending transaction of £1000 has now vanished and it now shows the available balance back to £1005. Im tempted to dip into these available funds again today. Does anyone know why the pending transaction was reversed ? If i withdraw £1000 today do you think the bank will reject the Casino if taken at a later date?
  4. 1. Discovered skullduggery 2. Applied for VR 3. Manager refused VR 4. Resigned and whisteblowed June 2013 5. Investigation completed and Manager sacked Feb 2014 Thanks 5.
  5. Whilst Im happy that the Manager has now been sacked and removed from post. My query was that 6 staff members all applied for voluntary redundancy and I was refused. The other 5 got it. I had a run in with my manager and uncovered the dodgy dealings that were happening. I had to resign as I felt my situation had become untenble there.
  6. Hello I resigned from my job last June as I uncovered alot of dodgy dealings that my Manager was doing. I had been singled out and had not been given voluntary redundancy when requested. I used the Companys Whistleblowing procedure to air my views and to expose what had been happening. The Manager has just been sacked and the investigation has just finished. Am I able to take my employer to Civil Court for compensation at all? I know im out of time for the employment tribunal route and wondered what my options were?
  7. Thanks for the reply. Do payday loan companies accept a percentage reduction then or are you suggesting that I pay these completely in full
  8. Morning all. Im a newbie to this site so please be gentle but have found the information i have read so far on this site to be extremely useful. 8-) Situation - Got into a mess about 12 months ago with separating from partner. Defaulted on mixture of 6 creditcards/loans/overdraft. Since then I have been in the payday loan trap with 4 payday loans on the go. In August 2010 i decided to open a parachute account where my wages are paid into and looking at starting a DMP with CCCS with regards to payments towards the 10 creditors. They have calculated that I have £100 disposable income each month to pay the 10 creditors. Creditors BARCLAYCARD 3099.07 HALIFAX CREDIT CARD 2345.13 CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD 1066.87 HALIFAX CURRENT ACCOUNT 1522.23 HALIFAX LOAN 7668.41 BARCLAYS BANK ACCOUNT £600.00 WONGA LOAN 642.99 PAYDAYUK LOAN 625 LENDING STREAM LOAN 402 PAYDAY EXPRESS LOAN 195 Possible Solution - This is where I need your valuable help and advice. My family have offered £10,000 to help clear these amounts. Obviously doing my maths it is not enough to repay all and my family are unable to help any further. I have done a full and final settlement calc as follows:- BARCLAYCARD 1703.11 HALIFAX CREDIT CARD 1288.77 CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD 586.3 HALIFAX CURRENT ACCOUNT 836.54 HALIFAX LOAN 4214.21 BARCLAYS BANK ACCOUNT 329.73 WONGA LOAN 369.75 PAYDAYUK LOAN 343.5 LENDING STREAM LOAN 220.92 PAYDAY EXPRESS LOAN 107.17 All of these are now in the default stage, and wondered if you had any ideas if i should go with the F+F settlement and if payday loans accept these. I know that the Barclays current account and Halifax Current account have had lots and lots of default charges applied to the accounts which has bumped them up considerably. Failing that would you consider to clear off the smaller debts and then deal with CCCS with regards the larger outstanding ones? Or pay off the payday loans first? Any help would be appreciated - Thanks in advance.
