My Cousin bought a vehicle from Arnold Clark on HP and decided to voluntarily terminate at teh half way point of the agreement. Arnold Clark took the vehicle back and have since sold it at auction. My cousin in the meantime has moved house and a recently had a bailiff knock on the door demanding £550.00 for a judgement that went against him without his knowledge which was started by the DVLA. Apparently the documentation never reached them and he was fined as a result. Where does he stand legally?
