  2. Hi Everyone Sent a CCA request and got a copy of my agreement with Egg. Trawled through some old emails and came across one from Egg stating the transfer of their accounts to Barclaycard and saying my online Egg Money Manager would be shut down. I decided to write to both Egg and Barclycard and ask for an explanation, no reply yet received. Also contacted DLC to advise i had written to them and was awaiting reply, just got an abrupt letter in return saying ring in 7 days or they will send doorstep collectors. I am not trying not to repay this debt i just want to pay the right person not a debt collection agency. Is there light at the end of the tunnel ?. Replies welcome. Regards
  3. It only stated one but with the media chit-chat saying Barclayard was taking over Egg i presumed I would get a letter for each account. As i said in the earlier post the first account I received the letter for transferred staight in to my current Barclaycard online account the second didn't hence thats why I wrote to BC.

Hi dx100uk and citizenB In answer to both your questions please see below. dx100uk: The most recent credit report says the debt is with Egg. citizenB: Last made payment to account Nov / Dec and did not send letter recorded, please see attached letter stating 1st account being transfered to Barclycard maybe I'm stuoid but presumed by this letter 2nd account would follow. Why would they only take on one account ? Fats333
  5. Hi All Sorry 2nd attempt with correct attachments Please find attached letter received this week from DLC. I have had some problems with repayments in the past but had managed to get myself back on track. I have 2 Egg accounts that I thought had been taken over by Barclaycard. One account was automaticlly imported on to my existing BC account the other didnt, went back on to my online Egg account to find both accounts had been removed and no detail there. Wrote to Barclycard to ask how I can make repayments, no reply then these letters arrives. What is my best plan of action, should I CCA DLC ? any help welcome. Fats333

  9. Hi All Thought it was all going too well. Just received attached letter from Arrow along with copy of credit agreement. CCA request sent 09/11/2010, account in dispute letter 12/12/2010 and this letter turns up 17/10/2011. Any ideas on a plan of action ? Regards Fats333
  10. Hi Bazooka Boo Many thanks for the reply. Just received my CCA request, and they have only supplied one !!!!!!! so letter of account in dispute going out shortly for the other. Lets hope they are prepared to sort a repayment plan on the one they prove. Keep you posted. Regards Fats333
  11. Hi Everyone No news on the MBNA accounts, good news ? I have decided to CCA Egg for the two accounts I have with them, originally they were very helpful but as time has progressed they are driving me mad. Sent telephone harassment letter which they have just ignored, had them on the phone again last night and told them accounts were under CCA request and yet to be satisfied but that seemed to make no difference in the end I thanked them and put the phone down. I am I right in presuming that until they satisfy the CCA both accounts remain in dispute once we hit the 12+2 ? I know I've done this before but a bit of reassurance does not go a miss.   15. They have not even received my last letter and another lands on the doorstep. Final notice demanding payment within 10 days or door step collection / court action. Dont they not talk to MBNA ? Are these lot a bunch of clowns. Anyone any ideas on my next step. Regards Fats333

  17. Ooops think I spoke to soon. Have just received today a notice of Debt Collection from Wescot. What to do now, MBNA have still not come up with the goods regarding the CCA request on 09/11/2010 and have been sent a account in dispute letter via recorded delivery on 12/12/2010. As the account in dispute letter states to contact myself in writing I have not had any contact from MBNA. I welcome your comments please. Regards
  18. New Year Update !!!! Still waiting for MBNA to respond to the CCA request and have sent account in dispute letter but still nothing in writing. Keep getting phone calls with caller id with held, just ignoring them. Also decided to CCA Mint who seem to have provided a copy of the credit agreement signed by myself. whats my best plan of action with Mint ? Please advise. Many thanks

  20. Hi alfwithhair Like a plum I sent a postal order for £1.00 not £2.00 as it was for two accounts, funny how it was addressed to DCRI and the reply came back from MBNA. Do I now cca MBNA direct ? Did not receive any Notice of assignment/sale from MBNA just a default notice dated 07/10/2010 and a remedy date of 26/10/2010. Notice of assignment came straight from Arrow global / wescrap.   21. Hi PGH7447 Thanks for the reply. Yes I did cca DCRI. Now the strange part, sent cca request recorded delivery 27/10/2010 to DCRI. Have checked online and it states letter delivered 01/11/2010. The Notice of Assignmet letter I received from Arrow Global / Wescot is dated 29/10/2010. Do i need to cca Arrow Global / Westcot as it looks like this has been passed on prior to DCRI getting the cca request or as you stated send them a copy of the DCRI letter. The phone call have now started !!!!!, but have not spoken to them yet. Regards Fats333

  24. Hi Can anyone please give me some advice. I have over the last 8 months been trying to repay my debt to some creditors. I have had great support from Egg and Mint who have both accepted a reduced payment plan, MBNA a different story. I have pleaded with them for help and support. NOTHING. I have been paying approx 50% of my minimum payment each month. Now a default notice has been served on me. On ringing MBNA they have informed me the arrears are now being dealt with by DCRI. I rang DCRI which apart from a different name seem to have the same attitude as MBNA. Can some please advise on my best course of action. Regards
