    I am a widower receiving pension credit. The DWP makes mortgage interest payments directly to the lender; I have an interest only mortgage. It seems that the DWP makes a "standard" payment not based on actual costs, is this correct? There is now a credit balance showing on the mortgage statement. Can I get the lender to send me the balance or will I just be stirring up a bed of worms?
