Hi my son has just shown me how to start my own thread lol iv been watching peoples threads wondering how to post :/ well here goes ,i was ready to take my paperwork to county court with my ex husband this morning to claim ppi against GE money, i rang GE at 9.25am for a final response (seeing as the banks have not contested losing the ppi debacle at court). So i was told in no uncertain terms the answer was a resounding NO ,as a broker (CLICK FOR FREEDOM) sold me the ppi and pushed it on to me ect, so i then rang the FSA who informed me they where right and i couldnt pursue GE money as it was not them that sold the actual ppi :? I then got the the registration number for the now defunct CLICK FOR FREEDOM) BUT FOUND ALSO WHEN I COMPLAINED TO FREEDOM FINANCE IN 2009 AS GE HAD TOLD ME THESE WHERE THE COMPANY RESPONSIBLE THEY TOLD ME THEY WHERE A DIFFERENT COMPANY ?????? SO I WAS FOBBED OFF ! i have found out today they where in fact the same company and had lied to me in 2009 to stop me pursuing my ppi claim with them !! The FSA told me this morning that it was the same company and They where also CLICK FOR FREEDOM!!!!!! and that i would have no luck in court against GE and would have to try and go through the FSA compensation route .im so upset and it took me a month to get my money saved to get these pigs into court ,any suggestions if i may have a clear case against GE as they took the payments ! JUST CANT AFFORD TO PAY ge LEGAL FEES IF THEY WIN !

Hi George , i sent the letter before action wishbone ash and Homer simpson sent ( i just ammended iit to suit my situation ) , i had a reply saying the usual crap they are sorry to hear of my dissatifaction and have added 28 days for thier investigation after i gave them 14 days , so bloody cheeky, i think they will refuse so think court would be a definate part of my future with these pigs, as for repossesion iv been there with these pigs and the chelsea, ( they tried to re possess my home both of them at same time) to be honest the judge was great with me and told Ge that he would not let them take my home as i had sold my car and took out a loan (i had to wait 2 more days for it to clear the judge gave me a month for the loan to clear( he he ). The bottom line is the judge wont give them possesion iif its thier fees and not your mortgage re payments you owe , im pretty sure of that one , i watched the idiot from eversheds try so hard to get the judge to give them my home but the judge told them no way as most of my arrears where unpaid direct debit fees Good luck let me kniow what happens

Hi Bank Fodder, iv had what is probably a standard letter from the Chelsea about my letter to them claiming back unpaid dd fees and counsellor fees ect, its just that i gave them 14 days to sort this out and pay me back before court action, they have said they are investigating it and it will take up to 28 days??? can i now go ahead and submit to court, iv lost original document they sent in 2008 after i asked for a (SARS) but i still had the calculations wrote down from back then, will i still be able to submit claim or am i acting outside the law ?? Also im sorry i know you said i need to start new thread but dont kniw how to do this ;( PS i also had same relpy from GE (same type of response takes 28 days to investigate) i think theyre buying for time myself please help and give details how to start a new thread (im a techno phobe )

Hi everyone,i sent a letter well two one to the chelsea about arrears charges and one to GE about same, i formed my letter from the one HJS sent about arrears (letter before action) and i sent them both around 5 days ago, i recieved a letter from the chelsea this morning as follows, Dear mrs Keygan,i am writing further to your letter from which im sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction with he service provided by the chelsea. id be pleased to investigate the matter further for you, however we require further details as we are unable to establish the details based on the information held in yiour letter. please provide additional information so we may locate you; the number you quoted is not a live chelsea account number so i have to conclude you are no longer a chelsea customer, please send us details such as correspondance postcode when the account was live,and your surname if it was different to what it is now, you also mentioned corespondence we have sent you ,if you could enclose a copy of these letters they should help with our investigation. I must say iv put my name change in the letter concerned plus they have a copy of name change deed dear caggers, so do you think they may settle instead of face a court room, im hoping so was wondering if anyone else had dealings with the chelsea

how do you find what they paid the broker ?? iv got the agreement but not sure how to find out (they used click for freedom finance now defunct) i was told but there is a freeedom finance but they say they are different company ???? it GE i want my charges and ppi back . and what does it mean when the case gets struck out ??? sorry im not up to speed on some of the terms

Hi Blossomandebony thanks for replying it was with the (chelsea )i sold the property and paid them off in 2007 but they charged me so much in charges and solicitor fees as they tried to re possess my property

hi can i claim my fees back as i settled my mortgage in 2007 in full plus over 2000 in chages ect they tried to repossess it but i sold my car and took a loan to pay arrears so i could sell

Hi Homer, im going to claim my arrwars fees and cost of solicitors just wondering would i be able to claim ppi against them too ?? the arrears charges and re possession charges (but i kept my house from them after selling my car and getting a loan) and the ppi on this secured loan? the secured loan was in 2006, and they sold me and my now ex hubby this loan with the ppi even though i had at the time (been working for the local council so i always got sick pay) plus they didnt tell me id have to re finance the ppi after 5 year (it was a 10 year loan ??) plus when i was in hospital after a life or death operation they did not pay out when my secured loan went into arrears, any help appreciated Homer or anyone else with knowkedge

hi , can i ask you if i can also put my ppi on top of the arrears fee's GE charged plus solicitors fee's ???? i dont want to use a solicitor as they want 25% and they have had my claim for 2 year and 3 months and done nothing , any advice appreciated, just in middle of writing my court forms out, figured best way forward as you seem to have luck along this route , they disregarded all my letters i sent asking for my money back x

oh im so glad you have gave me hope iv wanted to get them to court but with so many refusals to pay me back all the samer fees you had (unpaid direct debits ect ) they owe me around 4,000, i gave up even when i got the court pack through as i was scared id lose ,i will start this claim now ,iv nothing to lose i dont own my own home anymore if i lose they only have my physical being and dont think they will want that thanks for giving me hope , so if i issue proceedings i may get paid out do you think ? xx

Hi,can anyone help? I started a complaint against my nousing association back in August 2010 regarding issues of how long i have been on the list and people leap frogging over me ect, well seems i got the poliicies changed just by taking no for an answer all by myself, but anyway the other issue i have is, i got through to a stage 3 complaint with this particular housing association,but i cancelled as i was vomiting all night and asked for another date, it turns out they had the meeting and upheld my compplaint without me being there then sent me the email of the minutes which stated id been informed and agreed to some of what was said during the meeting but i wasnt there ????? iv since been told they are sorry but the person taking the minutes had made a mistake ect ect and that the meeting could have gone ahead without me there if i had given prior permission i had not !!!!! now it seems they are trying to stop me making a further complaint about their conduct and are basically saying it will take years and all i could expect is an apology i think they are trying to save thier own necks as i feel this was grossly negligent , does anyone know how i coud proceed, they have said they will offer me a good willl gesture (money) they offered me this verbally and in a letter,( i have refused as i think its wrong what they did , just wondering if i could get a solicitor to take it on or could i get it to coury myself thanks in advance

hi , can anyone help,in April this year my daughter took out a loan with Greenwoods finance its a doorstep lender, i already had a loan with them and i paid them every Tuesday without fail,anyway my daughter arranged for the agent to call on the Monday to get her to sign up and give her her money, as the agent was due to call the next day for my payment she told my daughter (who had just signed her agreement )that the loan would not be issued with money she had just signed for unless she paid the £50 payment i was due to make the next day as i always did ?? Surely this is wrong ? i contacted the compant as soon as i got in from work they looked into it but before they contacted me back the agent texted me and offered to pay me £50 not to take it further(a bribe me thinks ) anyway i contacted the manager to inform him of this he contacted the agent he got back to me and said it wasnt meant as a bribe (hello) well i told them as they had not paid the agreed loan amount paid to my daughter she will pay back what they gave her and say no more , the manager said no its the full amount of credit or nothing

:-xOh i know all about GE and companies they use to sell thier loans that go bust, we had a loan with GE home finance,through a company Click for freedom, who have also gone bust,this is very strange, my claim is after 2005 , but not sure if i could still take them to court i was sending court papers off, then just seeen this thread,so if Click for freedom has gone bust can i not take GE to court ???A solicitor was going to pursue them on my behalf for some of my ppi so they must think i can take them to court , but i want to do it myself but im confused now,iv been pursuing them for 2 years now,and they said i had to make a new complaint ???as so much time has elapsed ? so iv just recieved a letter from resolutions dept saying they are looking into my complaint, but i threatened them with court so not sure if this is a tactic to make me not put court papers in , shall i go to court or not HELP:( surley they are liable as they collected all the payments plus i paid the 10yr loan off in 15months as i sold the house but they never refunded my ppi surley they are responsible !

hi the date of first payment was around the 15 th of July 06 the final payment was on 14th march 2008 we sold the house to pay them off final payment was £10,911,48 that included £52.13 interest,£172.49 settlement fee plus £200 settlement admin fee its not good what they charged me

Hi, have scanner i think but i dont have a clue how to use the thing lol il ask for help from my son when he gets back but sure he doesnt either will try very hard lol we bought it 2 yrs ago and used it for print and copying but coulodnt figure out the scanner :0

Oh and i really want to take GE to court as they did with me i was in bits after what they put me through because of my ex , id really love to turn the tables on them and win just dont want to lose the case and end up paying thier legal fees but part of me is saying so what just do it, has anyone won a case against them after taking them to county court themselves :/

Hi i have paid the loan off a year after i took it out as i sold my home, the APR was 12.9 .The monthly repayments where £138.16 but that included the ppi as it was totted up in one monthly payment, does anyone know if i should have been reimbursed the ppi as i paid the whole amount in full after one year instead of the 10 year term

im new please advise i took a secured loan with GE money(first national) through a broker (click for freedom) in 2006 with my now ex hubby, it was for £7500 they added the ppi for £2065.50 together to make one lump sum(is this illegal)?as they charged me the sum as a whole with the interest instead of separate. Anyway the pppi was forced on us we where told no ppi with them no loan plus iv found out it only covered 5 yrs of the loan instead of the 10yrs the loan period with, i also found out that as a second applicant my ex hubby was main applicant i wast covered anyway and as i worked for the council at the time i didnt need it as they have long term sickness payments anyway,(solicitor told me ) anyway i tired and got the same its not our problem response and i have kept every copy of every letter i sent plus wht they sent i instructed a ppi law firm in nov 2008 they till 6 weeks ago dint do much so i instructed them to stop on my behalf, i then today decided i would pursue it myself, i have been to court in 2007 with GE trying to re possesss my home as my now ex hubby decided he wouldnt carry on paying it as i was divorcing him so he stopped paying the secured loan with GE and the mortgage with the Chelsea , so j ha d 2 re possessions on it i had to sell my car and take anpther loan to pay it all i went to court and even though i had the money GE still wanted possession the judge was on my side but to get back to my claim the ppi was missold and is it illegal to out the loan and ppi together???? and if it is i was going for resitutionary damages as it was not a legal loan and if its not legal all the interest the court fees (trying to repossess) solicitors fees default notices ect ect calling in notice ect ect but the solicitors i called off the case rang today and said that the loan and the ppi together isnt illegal (im confused) i was telloing her i was going it alone she also said id only get my ppi back plus interest but if i went to court myself id lise and that GE woukd eat me alive and id pay all thier fees s o after ringing GE TODAY they gave me a new claim number and said they would deffo be in touch(think they will go back to fobbing me off in 2008)i thought i might be getting somewhere as they said they hadnt heard from the law firm i instructed for such a long time they wasnt sure what was going on they seemed ok on phone then the law firm i instructed the told not to bother rang me and said id never do it alone id end up payingt thier legal bill ect so after determination to go it alone im scared law firm said id never get restutionary damages im lost scared deflated HELP XX
