  1. Hi just wanting to know if anyone can help me.just lost my job and i owe £2800 on a overdraft with the halifax bank and £2000 on a catalogue.but since iam unemployed a can no longer afford to pay these bills what can i do ? My head is all over at the moment. Please help me . . .

  3. Well i have never been to court before and just wanting to know if i have a chance of winning the case or what could be the worse outcome on this this matter.
  4. there just photocopied my babys birth cerficate. there said there dont needthe tax credit letters there get notified automatically reguarding any changes in your circmstances..There also did give me a receipt

Hi could some one please help me I work part time hours and i have 4 kids and get help with my rent and council tax. which is housing benefit and council tax benefit. my 4th child was born in june 2011 and i went down to the office and notified them that i now had a 4th child and handed in my babys birth certicate i also showed a lady down at the office a letter from child tax credits with our new award and told me she didnt needed anything else from us. has tax credits and child benefit there get automatically notified. i thought fair enough and went home. back in april i received a letter for over £1500 overpayment in housing benefit and council tax saying we did not declare you new award of tax credits back in june 2011, and we must pay this money . so i appeal agaisnt the overpayment and because of me appealing against it. the benefit office have sent it to court which is middle of august 2012. could anybody give me some advice please.
  6. Recived a letter back from fredrickson debt collectors today. saying thank you for your letter we have decided to send the debt back to the orignal creditior.you will not get any futher letters from us reguarding this debt.

  9. hi guys just now ive just received a letter from wescot.Reguarding an 2 year old BT phone bill. I refused to pay my bt phone bill and broadband with them has the phoneline and broadband wasnt working properly.people could ring me and the phone wouldnt ring at my end.broadband was cutting out all the time upto 8 times aday.I phone Bt reguarding the matter loads of times.and there just reported the fault and said it will be fixed in 72 hours by sending some kind of signals down through my phone line. but no change the fault just kept contueing so i didnt pay the bill and let them disconnect me from bt. Anywhere last year in march 2010 my neighbour pulled me up and said to me are you mr ------- and i said yes.my neigbour said a company keeps ring for you on my house phone called wescot and asking for you and asking if i am still living at my fixed address.She told me that she told them i still live there and that wescot are sending me a letter reguarding the matter so said ok thanks to my neighbour. The next day I got a letter from wescot credit services reguarding the debt for the phone bill £330.54p.so i offered them a £1 a month and there expected it.At th time i thought just pat this £1 a month to them and it will get them off my back. Anyway to put things short i got bored of paying this £1 a month to them so i stopped paying it 6 months ago .and today i receive a letter from them 1st time since stop paying them saying Our records show that you have failed to maintain the agreed repayment plan .the last payment received on your account was £1 on the 17/08/2010 and as a result the repayment plan is £5.00 in arrears. you have already acknowledged liability for this debt by agreeing this repayment plan,therefore you must take immediate action to clear these arrears. please do not ignore this letter to do so could result you in either us or our client taking action to recover the debt,which may include: 1 legal action against you through the courts. 2 referring your debt to a door step collections agency to carry out collections at your home. do you think i should just start paying wescot again? any advice would be great or help on this matter would be great...

  11. so its sorted now just checked my billing account on sky.com and i am £32 in credit so i am going to cancel my direct debit now.Has my monthly subscription is only £23.50p.
  12. This morning i got a reply from sky saying ...... Dear Mr -------- Thank you for contacting Sky Help Centre. I’m sorry to learn that you were unhappy with the level of service you’ve received. I assure you that we usually provide the highest level of customer service and I’m very disappointed that your recent experiences didn’t reflect this.You sky account will cancel in febuary when you called in last month they recorded the request for your cancellation so at this moment in time your veiwing will cease on the 25th feb I hope this helps with your enquiry.   13. thanks for the advice middemess. Did think of canceling the direct debit but there would most likely transfer it to a debt collector. But last night i put a full complaint into sky by email. saying.... Customer service complaint (TV) Description: Dear sir or madam at sky I would like to make a complaint has a month ago i wanted to cancel my sky tv service.I belive i am not in a contract with you anymore has i joined back in 10th july 2009. Last month i wanted to cancel my sky tv and i was told i cant because i was in a contract until june 2011.Due to new hardware which is a sky hd box.which is wrong has the adviser who offered me the sky hd box back in june 2010 said to me i would only be in contract for 12 months if i decided to keep the hd pack for 12 months but i had 30 days right to cancel.so within haveing the hd pack for 9 days. i didnt like it couldnt really tell the difference so i canceled the sky hd pack which again i was not in no contract has i cancelled the hd back within my 30days of right to cancel.I also belive i cant be in a contract for a service has you are not provideing me with the hd pack. Any way from today 24th january 2011 i would like to cancel all my sky tv services has i no longer watch it and its money i am just wasteing. if this matter is not sorted and my sky tv isnt canceled within 30 days i will be contacting consumer direct also ofcom also office of fair tradeing reguarding this matter. Hi guys i joined sky tv in july 2009 and still currently a customer.in june 2010 i phoned sky to cancel my tv services with them.but there offered me the sky hd pack there said i get a free sky hd box due to my old sky box was just a sky plus box.There said i will be under a 12 month contract again if i decide to keep the hd pack but i have 30 days right to cancel the package if i wasnt happy with. so after having the sky hd pack for 9 days i decided to call sky and cancel my hd pack has i didnt think it was worth the £10 extra on top of your subscription.so sky happy canceled the sky hd pack and told me to keep my sky hd box has i kept my normal current sky subscription. so today i decided to cancel all my sky tv services again has i dont watch it anymore and its just a waste of money has i dont watch it anymore.i phone sky to cancel and there said i cant cancel untill june 2011 has i am still under contract for the hardware. i told them that there was wrong and i wasnt told i was under a contract for keeping the sky hd box.Otherwise i would give them the box back and i would of just contiued to use my normal sky plus. there said if i cancel now i have to give them 30 days notice and i have to pay for the rest of the subsription up to june 2011 for breaking a contract i am not aware of. could anybody give me some advice please
