  1. Will do thank you!

ive been told on phone the following

UC Mac award 2424.15, they only deduct 831.78 and 291.42 for carers they then add my partners earnings on 1612 and the carers allowance of 67 a week,

ive asked for a full official breakdown

  2. I’ve applied for council tax help, but I’ve been refused,

Our UC is 2424.24 before deductions after we normally get 530, if rent and advantage was not there it would be 1299.

today they sent an email saying they only take 831 and the carers element of 291 out of it, so I should get 1300 a month which is correct, but we have the rent paid with the UC

My partners wages are different each month but they say even with 1300 we not entitled to any help, I’m lost as we don’t see the £1300pcm we only get roughly 530pcm my patented only ever gets 1600 pcm in wages max.

I can’t find a breakdown of what is ment to be used for it as when I do entitled to and the councils own calculator online it says we entitled to £25pw to help

  3. I didn’t agree to the repo the guy came every day and ended up blocking my neighbours drive (were the car was stored)  for 6 hours, the neighbour needed to leave and caused a huge commotion and he ended up taking the car.

im not sure as to why now I’m hoping the SAR will show this, but as it’s correctly on there I can understand it needs sorting,

  4. Ok thank you,

i defaulted but cleared the default by the date needed, and I fell into arrears again but they repossessed the car on the original DN. even with an arrangement to pay (which they didn’t agree too but i maintained payments, I’ve managed to find my bank statements to show this, as I know i commented I missed a few payment with the plan but I found payments made to them) they sold it and now I’m left with £8000 to pay.

I’ll await the SAR response, thank you

  5. Thank you for opening this back up.

i logged into my credit file and today noticed that they had put it on my file with 2 years of default!

I have still not received the SAR and no response for it, when I asked again this morning I got a response that they closed it in March and I owe the money.
I did say I’m still awaiting on the SAR but they haven’t responded .

I was hoping to move and now I feel I won’t be accepted as this is now on my file and is for nearly £8000

  6. A few years ago now I have another thread but can’t post in it sorry

car was repossessed and I’m still awaiting the SAR, today they updated my credit file and now 2 years of default on there and saying I owe just under £8000, I’ve contacted them again to sort the SAR but nothing they saying the complaint was closed in March and I owe the money.

I was trying to move house and now this is on file it’s unlikely I will be approved any help on what I can do to get them to do the SAR please

  7. Got a new insurance and today we received an email to say, I had an settled fault claim on my file from 2016 from an old car! this is the 1st i heard of it and was in shock, never been in accident  that needed a claim (a car hit the back of us on the motorway no damage to either car and the guy even admitted fault as was on phone, and we had a police log for this well we hope as we called them) or had any claims!!

we have tried to contact the old insurance company Octagon but they have gone! and the contact information we have is just an email for them and keeps getting bounced back.

Im worried as now it is showing on my file that i have settled fault claim! any help??

  8. thanks for help, so ACAS helped as much as they could and ended up doing early conciliation.

So holidays start from 1st April till 31st March,

My Partner started 9th Feb and finished on 17th July and 0 hour contract.

Before covid was doing 60 hours a week then covid and was 4 on 4 off, but nothing to say this.

We worked out it is 1.66weeks 11.62 in days to be paid from the period, he was paid for 8 days after (at only 8 hours though not 12, but we sorted that bit)

I know it's only 3.62days still owed but its a lot of money to us at the moment.

When acas spoke to them, they said same to us, that my partners site was never affected by covid and that he could have taken holidays at any time and that he was told when he started the holiday periods.  but then covid happened and nothing the office staff were furloughed and emails to the office stated this.

we are not sure if it is worth going to court as ACAS said that as it is over 3 months ago we may not have a case to take, but then it makes you think how many other business are going to get away with this.

  9. After getting hold of the company, they state they have paid me 8 days (they have not as i work 12 hours shifts) and they paid 64 hours which total 5.333 days, they are now saying as my site was not affected by COVID they do not owe me anything and charged an admin fee of £20 for helping in getting the SIA badge but this have never been told to me!

Site was affected by COVID as the hours I was working was 60 hours a week, but then another site was shut due to covid so my hours and days dropped to 4 on 4 off, and if i work out my holiday entitlement through GOV website it states 1.66 weeks and i work that out as 11 days, they are refusing to assist

  10. My partner started a new job and notice handed in correctly etc,

As he worked through out covid, we was under the impressions any holidays left would be carried over due to the temp law, the company never confirmed or deny and even assist with anything during covid just emails to say not in office.

We have worked out on the gov holiday calculator that my partner should get paid 18 days holiday, but they only paid 5.333 days and are not responding to any emails or calls, it is over £1000 in money missing as he works 12 hours shifts, are they correct not to pay him any holidays owed to him before covid?

    thanks

  11. So we got a partial refund and it has been credited to Parentpay, I’ve attempted to withdraw from them but has been declined no reason as to why and can not get hold to them only via contact us, which I have done but still no response from them.

I have looked up reviews and it seems a lot of people having the same issue and they not covered by the Finical ombudsman, can I raise a dispute with the bank again to try get the money back?

  12. thank you I will just have to wait it out, PGL did a notice on social media advising they not refunding anyone, and to go through insurance.

im more annoyed at the school for not going through there insurance sooner!! They said the insurance has not given a completion date and I’ve still not received any break down of the trip.

the bank refuse to help due to ParentPay Terms and conditions
