  1. ps...if they do trawl this forum, then they probably won't have the intelligence to understand half of what is said. I will be on to them big time. Thanks again peeps, hopefully this experience i'm having will work out ok in order for me to pass on the knowledge and help other people on this site, i've learned a hell of a lot.
  2. Thanks 2grumpy, babybear and BD, thanks BD for the template letter. I shall be writing the muppets a letter tommorrow when i have the day off, it shall be very intresting to see their response. I will also push the OC to respond to my SAR request. I shall get to the bottom of this. Oh and BD, how to i click on your star. Sorry i am so incompetent on this site lol. Computers and me do nopt really mix.
  3. I am not surprised the OFT is on to them, i watched the Panorama documentary and was sickened at the way these agents treated the debtors. I have done loads of research on 1st credit and they're website makes them look like a nicey, nicey bunch of samaritans who 'only wants to help the debtor' and who sympathises with the debtor, i had to laugh. because when i googled them, i did not find one posative comment on the muppets, i read about how the OFT are closely monitoring them, i hope they get theie lisence taken straight off them!! I can't seem to fand a template specifically for disputes, do you mind if i use your template? To be honest with you i don't think 1st credit have got hald the paper work they need in order to take me to court, they are useless lol
  4. Bigdebtor, u are fantastic, I thought it looked a bit dodgy when i read it. I will most certainly send an account in dispute letter, i'll have a look for a template on this site, as my writing skills are awful. I have send an SAR to Lloyds, will push it with them for a response if i don't hear from them. I will certainly not be giving these clowns anymore money until i have cast iron proof of the debt, i can't believe that they tried to pull the wool over my eyes. Fraudsters!!!!! Well we'll see what they come up with now. Thanks again for that advice
  5. Hiya, i did recieve something through the post with the complaint response, which they claim is their notice of assignment. It is on 1st credit letter headed paper, the date on it is 31/08/2006 and it basically says that they give me notice that Lloyds tsb has assigned 1st credit ltd all of the banks rights in to and under the above detailed account. Thay say they have been appointed by Lloyds tsb to administor the account. It says the full outstanding amount is owed to 1st credit. I should contact the office immediatly blah blah blah. However in August 2006, Connaught was the DCA (i know they are the same vultures). And in August 2006, Connaught knew of my current addreess, so why is my old, old address on this stupid excuse of a 'document'??? They know full well that i didn't live there at the time, or they would have done if they were the true owners of the debt. If they were going to send a NOA back in 2006, then wouldn't they send it to the address i was living at?? In other words, do you think that this is a genuine NOA?? (i don't really know what one looks like). I think they are taking the micky. Also, i certainly will be reporting these low lives to anyone and everyone i can think of, including OFT, TS, CSA. If not just for me, for everyone else that has been bullied by these muppets. Still no SAR from Lloyds, that may take time.
  6. ha ha you make me laugh, i'm glad i made you flattered lol...thanks for your great advice. You all make me feel so much calmer, thanks again
  7. i know, sorry i panicked, i took the advice on all the posts and your right, i shall do nothing. I've already cancelled direct debits so i payed my last payment through standing order. I shall keep making these payments and i shall send them a letter informing them that i will continue paying them regardless of whether they agree or disagree. Thank you and sorry again for panicking, they just stress me out.
  8. Oh my god, why don't they just leave me alone!!!! I had a letter from 1st credit with regards to my complaint, and no surprise there, they have basically disagreed with everything i have said. They said that i have 14 days to give them my financial statement, wage slips and employers details and if they don't recieve it then they will cancel my repayment of £50 and seek full recovery. What should i do?
  9. i feel so much better now, i have now taken on all your advice (thanks again) and acted on it, by the way Stunned Monkey, loved the cheekiness thread, i have to admit, i was trying to wind the guy up on the phone yesterday, to a point where he had to get an agent of a 'higher level' onto the phone lol. Now i am going to sit, wait and chill. They will have recieved my 3 page long harrassment letter tommorrow, they now know where i stand and that i will not budge, and i may recieve proof of debt from them, i may not, but i am really not going to let them get to me anymore. Thanks again peeps
  10. harrassment letter completed. To be sent tommorrow, thanks again for the template and all of your advice, fingers crossed, no more calls.
  11. OMG, i answerd the phone to ist credit, i didn't know it was them and i asked them to put everything in writing, but they were very persistant and i am ashamed to say they drew me into an argument, the women on the phone was so rude, she said if i don't provide them with an I and E within 7 days then she will cancel the agreement and take further action, i so regret being wound up by them and being drawn into the argument. I thraetened to report them to OFT and she said that she has recordings of me being rude to her agents (i wasn't rude, i was standing up for myself). I told her that they were bullying me and harrassing me and it's causeng me to feel ill, i told her i will not pay more than £50 and i am not willing to provide my employees details or my private finances. I know what your all thinking 'you shouldn't have spoken to them on the phone', well i WILL NOT be doing that again as i am seriously considering changing my number. She just wound me up. I haven't had access to a computer, so i didn't get the template of the harrassement letter until now (thanks for sending it), i will be writing that out and sending it of to them. I told her i will continue paying £50, whether they want to accept it or not, i'm not refusing to pay, she also refused to send me a doa, as she reckons Connault sent me one in 2006, so again another letter for that will go out. Stress, stress, stress and my stupidity by talking to those clowns caused it. Why wont they just let me get on with paying them????
  12. thankyou all for taking the time to reply and helping me with the templates, i will get onto it tommorrow, 1st credit sent me their standing order details, but a prove it letter will be on it's way, so we shall see. and Coledog, your right i should make a complaint to the OFT, because the more people complain, the greater chance of these muppets having their license revoked. I've done nothing but reserach this company and i have heard personal accounts of what they have put people through, it's disgusting. I will NOT let these people bully me. I'll keep you posted and thanks again for your replies, if it wasn't for all your reassurance and advice, i would have had many sleepless nights.
  13. thanks Spamheed, i'm thinking it may be worrth sending an SAR request to 1st credit, i take it within that, they should provide me with their Deed of Assignment? Do you know if there is a template letter around that will help me write to these people requesting terms and conditions and a NOA?
  14. Hiya Spamheed, thanks for your reply, i can't send a cca letter as it was for a student overdraft, ccas do not apply, however, i haven't got any proof from 1st credit, i have sent a SAR to the OC but as for 1st credit, i don't really know what i have to send to get proof of the debt. They haven't even told me they had taken over the debt, they sent me a letter telling me to ring them immediatley and when i rang them, my story began. I just got a letter saying they will accept my re payment plan for 3 months, and they can change it at anytime, this is on condition thay they recieve my financial statement and they even wanted my emplyers details (they can go and swivvel). But other then that, no proof that the debt does belong to them, whether the amount is correct, etc I am such a mug because i held my hands up and said i probably do owe some money without questioning it, i just have no experience dealing with these muppets, other DCAs have been ok, and have left me alone when i have committed to a financial repayment plans,
