  1. Thanks, I only applied as it didn't have a CRB bit on the application form and stated where you need to disclose the spent convictions in certain posts, this wasn't any. All my references etc have gone through just the CRB now hopefully all works out.
  2. The conviction was for theft but I was only 19 when it happened, long story but I really didn't take the money. When the matter got to court I was not presented with any concrete evidence, it was unfortunate but I didn't know how to fight it. When I did my CRB form today, it only asked for unspent convictions to declare as per the job application form. It was more interested in the ISA Child and audit vulnerability convictions which I don't have at all. Is it worth discussing with the employer now or wait for the CRB to come through.
  3. I've been offered a job working as a debt manager in a company. 6 years ago I had a conviction for theft but it's spent now. On the application form it asks only for unspent convictions and to declare it for a directors or accountants job so I did not have to declare it. I got the job, nothing about the CRB has been called up. As it's working with some vulnerable people they are taking an enhanced CRB. Obviously this will show up on my record as spent, should it affect me continuing working as I start in 3 weeks? Thanks. Nick.
