What to do, what to do? Here's the situation I'm in * My car is now in no condition to drive (so I want to scrap it) * I've declared it off road a few months ago * I've moved houses a few times, and I'm about to move again (in a few weeks) * I seem to have lost my registration certificate (could have been one of the moves) I just want to get rid of my car. The problem is, I can't scarp my car without the registration certificate, and I don't think there is anyway of getting another certificate before I move (I don't even know how to go about getting a new one) For some reason, although I've managed to misplace my certificate, I still have the section 10 New Keeper Supplement strip from when I bought it.. What can I do? What will happen if I get it scapped and dont tick the right boxes (or any) in the registration certificate. Can I get a new certificate without the old one (can I use my old section 10)... I wouldnt imagin so, how will they know I am who I say I am since I've moved? Is there another way through this mess to just scrap my car? This is what the DVLA suggest: But I've lost my registration certificate... oh!
