  1. hi there about a week ago going across the forth road bridge i think i might have been caught by a camera van now my question is this the have to send me out nip within two weeks do they not ? so how would it stand if i had a letter to be sighned for at the post office and i never went to pick it up and it was returned to sender would i get away with it ? just wondering as i have a note hear from royal mail saying i have a sighned for letter that they tryied to deliver today just wondering if i did not go and pick it up it says they would return to sender within 1 week witch would put me over the two week mark for speeding what do you think ? just a thought
  2. just to thank evryone for there help in this matter espesialy sidewinder the outcome of my displinary hearing was i got a final 18 month written warning i had a letter from my doctor stating that i had been suffering from deprsion for 9 months so another condition was that i see a company doctor and my manager has to monitor my attitude thank u to evryone for there help i hate the job but its paying the bills till a sort somthing out thank u kris

  4. right got the notes of the phone call emailed to me buy the hr guy there is a few points that worry me i asked if i resighned would i get a ref and the reply was yes you would get a standerd factual refrence i asked in his opinion given what he knows do you think i am likley to get dissmised he replied Obviously I can’t give you an answer to this. As far as it stands I believe you have been suspended, the incident would then have to be investigated then if whoever carrying out the investigation believes that it should go to disciplinary then it will be passed onto a manager to carry out the disciplinary. I’m not carrying out the investigation or disciplinary. secondly acording to the statments he has looked at the person i had the argument with and the security guard state that i was being violent and threatning now i was shouting yes i dont know how i was being violent other than raising my voice also i remember stepping out the truck and getting searched by the security gaurd he goes on to say this At the moment we are in the early stages of the process. I have briefly looked at the statements from the security guy and billy and they state that you were being violent and threatening, the statements say that you did not allow yourself to be searched and obviously this was in front of a customer. Obviously there are two sides to every story and you haven’t given a statement yet, but those allegations if founded could amount to Gross Misconduct and generally in these cases outcome is potentially dismissal or final written warning. then i ask about diseplinery procedures and time scales What would the disciplinary process involve and what about timescales? We would invite you to investigation, if following this whoever was investigating felt disciplinary action was necessary you would be invited to a disciplinary hearing, you would be entitled to be accompanied by employee colleague or TU rep, and you would also be sent details from the investigation. Probably may take up to 2 weeks. At this meeting you would be given every opportunity to state your case.

  6. conversation was about 20 mins long just spoke to him on the phone he is going to email me the notes of the coversation we had tomorrow
  7. no i did not sighn anything they said if i was gonna resighn i would have to put it in writing they would give me till the end of the week because they would like to get the investigation started as soon as possible
  8. there was no meeting it was a phone conversation they have agreed to give me a ref if i resighn
  9. well spoke to hr today wasnt very clear at times said i could possibly recive a final written warning but could prob get dissmissed said he would need to know by the end of the week if i was gonna submit my reignation in writing to my boss or i could wait to see what the out come of the investigation would be ie if its misconduct or gross misconduct but then they could refuse my resignation and still go ahed with things dont feel any clear after speaking to hr
  10. thank u so mutch for your advice i would say my actions were out of order and the guy i shouted at was a big boss for royal mail who is a customer a big customer to my employers hr are contacting me tomorrow between 2 and 3 is there any reason my manager who i worked for for 5 years would not comment to me on the phone about this situation with regaurds to resigning i thought if i offerd immediate resignation they would stop the investication and would give me a good ref i still dont know what they are gonna disapline me for i mean i know what i did but what does it constitute to misconduct ?
  11. i dont want to resign i gave acas the same info i gave you they told me to talk it through with my manager who would not discuss it with me this is my first offence should i not wait till i have spoken with hr? i cant really live with out jsa dose that mean i have to go to disaplinary and possibly get a bad reference i just feel mabey it would be beter to have a good ref from the company i am totaly lost dont know what to do
  12. hi after some info if poss last night i had an argument with a boss from a company that is a customer of ours he phoned my manager i was taken to the office then i was escorted up to the gates and told you have had an argument on stand 34 with said boss we found you attitude terrible and you almost caused a security breech after that they took my pass my manager then came over and said i would be on full pay pending an investigation that was it got in my car and drove holme i am not a union member (although i thought i was) i contacted acas who said to speak to human resorces and offer my resignation to stop the investication and give me a good ref stating i worked there for five years and had an exellent record of attendance and hold my hand up to offence i phoned my boss he said i would be contacted by hr tomorrow between 2 and three i explained to him about offering my resignation in return for a ref he told me he would phone me back 20 mins later he phoned me back and said that would be acceptable if that was my proferd option i asked him his opinion as i have worked with him for 5 years he said he could not comment and i should descuse it with hr tomorrow i have worked for this company for 5 years my attendance time keeping sick days are exellent better than the managment (there is only 2 of them ) what should i do i fully put my hand up to the offence and admit my behaviour was unaceptable i also suffer from depression but my employer does not know this and have made an appointment with the doctors tomorrow because of the stress sorry for the long post
