  1. Im am receiving exactly the paperwork described on your link ......must admit though its frightening ......even though I paid and displayed I have never been in this situation before ......I find that not been able to appeal properly very distressing ......I almost wish I could have taken this to a solictor and make NCP pay for the distress caused !!!!
  2. So......is everyones advice 'ignore'........I would honestly have paid the fine if I hadnt paid and displayed and my knee jerk reaction is to appeal as I have still got the P&D ticket that was bought but dont wasnt to open another can of worms because then I have admitted that I was the driver of the car. Should I seek legal advice......would it be worth the cost????????? HELP:confused:
  3. Sorry for the confusion I rang Bolton Council - they say this is a Private Parking ticket - there is no mention of Bolton Council on the PCN My daughter put the pay and display ticket in the front passenger window - they put the PCN at the left of the windscreen next to my tax disc so they must have been on the left of the car and should have easily been able to see the one in the passenger window Should I appeal or ignore?
  4. On Bank holiday monday I visited Bolton and parked on a Council Carpark that is managed by NCP. My daughter paid for a 4 hours parking ticket and placed it in the front passenger window when she was getting my grandchild out of the car. When I returned at 14.30 I had been given a NCP Parking Contravention Notice...this had been placed at the side of my tax disc and therefore the attendant would have been able to see the P&D ticket The infringment was for not clearly displaying a valid parking ticket. But I had and still have the P&D ticket I bought. I think the reason I have been given a ticket is because it was not in the WINDSCREEN. I am worried now ...should I Appeal but I keep reading that I should ignore the Contravention notice as the contract is with the driver which they would have to prove. If I appeal against the ticket then I would be admitting that I was the driver on the day .......WHAT SHOULD I DO ??? Please help - the 14 day reduced penalty is up soon
