  1. Thanks for the advice! Will write a letter to each and call to confirm receipt on Wednesday.
  2. In respects to credit cards; Capital One, Vanquis and Creation Finance (credit for laptop) can't I just ask them to lower payments until I'm working to a nominal amount (the same with L'Woods & Jacamo). I meant it'd be great if i could 'get back' any interest I've paid but I just want to be able to afford it whilst I'm off work, that's the main priority. The only issues I ever had were with HSBC and my student account and the charges I was given monthly of £80 or so, but I think they eventually waived them, I soon left the bank after clearing all debt! I don't think I had any PPI on any of my debts from 2004 to present.
  3. In regards to reclaiming, is there a template for that on the site (sorry, I am new). The agreement wasn't sold as a bill of sale, but it is a bill of sale. I have paid about 3k of 15k... I was desperate for a working car as my job was travelling, I've read I have very few options! I will call Virgin first thing Monday, I am using this weekend to get all the priorities and actions in place... NHS originally told me I'd be back at work next week, I was then told this week that I wont be working for 6-9 months... suffice to say boss wasn't too happy, I doubt it helped my cause with the situation. The NHS are already being sued for the time it took and misinformation given!
  4. Hello, I don't have a diary but have monthly outgoings charts for the last few months. They sacked me correctly as was in my probationary period and the doctor told them I could not perform my duties (I travel to client sites, etc). I am at my fathers at the moment but do pay rent, I know that I can be helped by the government on that one but we're also trying to move out... I can't easily access the toilet with current condition, I live in a front room!
  5. Haha, not gold plated, no. Telephone, Broadband & TV with a few channels. I am not sure I can re-do the contract with them. TFC is the car, yes - I have already called them to have a particularly rude northerner told me they'll re-posess.
  6. So, due to injury and NHS taking 4x longer than they should to get around to my operation... (thanks NHS) I was sacked from employment, in total I was earning £37500.00 PA and I have a few 'commitments', including some of my partners (who's on SSP and very ill). I've just found out, if I'm lucky ESA will give me £350.00 PCM, and these are my outgoings: £80.00 Jacamo £100.00 Littlewoods £60.00 Creation (laptop) £50.00~ Credit Cards (Vanquis (ha, was trying to improve my credit rating... oops) and Capital One). £60.00~ Halifax Overdraft charges £70.00 Virgin Package £35.00 Mobile (T-Mobile) £243.00 THE FUNDING CORPORATION / Care of ACF. I didn't know it was BoS until this week... SO all in all, outgoings are: £698, of which I know £348 of which wont be budge-able. I hope to be only out of work for the remainder of May, at worst be back at work Mid-June but this is all depending on what the consultant says, he initially said 6-9 months from March. How do I go about contacting the various companies and what can I do... I generally can't afford it until back to work! Has anyone had any success with TFC/ACF? The BoS was correct, I don't want to give it back and know I'll be working soon, the problem is my patella tendon ruptured and I am not allow to bend it fully yet, although I am getting more and more movement every day. PLEASE ADVISE!! FTT--
  7. I have recently been signed off work, well sacked because of my injury (a ruptured patella tendon that is healing) and spoke to the payments team at TFC... they were less than helpful and would not offer to reduce the payments, bearing in mind I will be back to work in 6-9 months I didn't see this as a big deal? Below is the information I am really annoyed, at the time of purchase through ACF I was unaware that this would be the case, I assumed it was hire purchase not bill of sale and bill of sale wasn't actually explained to me. I am even more annoyed because even if I wanted to upgrade the car (as the salesman had said I could in 2 years) I could not because of this! I can afford this month and potentially next month but from then on I wont be able to afford it, I am happy to hand the car back... but not on the condition they sell the car at auction and deduct from the final cost of the credit, that is crazy - I even said about the interest, he said this was fixed and still be payable. What confuses me is the numbers above don't make sense! To make matters worse the date for bill of sale was apparently signed 12/04 - 4 days after the purchase so that is 'above' board. I honestly didn't know at the time this would be the case... they are of course saying if i miss payment they will take the car, deduct the amount from the loan and make me pay the rest...
