  1. Hi Phil, I have heard nothing since my last post. The incident occured at the end of April last year, it has been 9 months. If they are going to do anything, they would have done it by now. Oh, one thing I have to mention is that Premier Parking Solutions had been featured on the local paper. Many people were complaining of the way the issue "penalty invoice/tickets" . Maybe that's why I have not even had any threatening letters at all! I just hope that's the last of it!
  2. Guess what? I got a letter today. They have offered to help me out if I have difficulties in paying my fine. Certainly not at all what I expected! Seems like they are trying it on, with a different approach?!
  3. Can someone help please? I run a self employed delivery business with my own van. I had insured with the company Gladiator for two years. The first year I paid by a lump sum, the second year went on intallment, direct debit. When this year's renewal came, I decided not to renew as premium increased more than I expected. So I cancelled my direct debit instructions and assumed it will be cancelled as they cannot collect money. 20 days after they wrote to me saying I owe them money demanded payment. After a few to and fro, I discovered the policy was on automatic renewal, they had say so on the renewal notice but I did not notice it as I thought non payment meant non renwal. Anyway, I cancelled it but they said I own them over £300. The amount includes 20 days of insurance and a admin charge. The original premium was £1200, can they charge me 1/4 of the amount for cancelling? They threaten if I do not pay, they will pass it to debt collectors and the amount will keep adding on! What can I do? They are blatantly ripping me off! Please help.
  4. Oh yes, I am ignoring it alright. Have not been on here for a while but noticed there are more people who fell into the hands of them at the same car park!
  5. Although I did not act on the advice of trading standard, it is still worth reporting them. Hopefully they will pick up there is some sort of malpractice on these daylight robber's part.
  6. It just crossed my mind that maybe they do not have the evidence afterall!
  7. WARNING! To anyone who live in Crawley or go there, DO NOT PARK in the open car park adjacent to BarMed. They get you hooked on the fact that they charge 50p an hour but when you are there, they will give you a so called ticket with any excuse they can make up. Always remember, when something looks too good to be true, it often is! Since my last post I have not heard anything at all. However after reading post from CLAUK, I think I have not heard the last of it. At the time before I found CAG, I contacted them and requested proof but never received anything in the post. Just wondering if any other victims like myself actually got photo evidence sent to them from Valley Enforcement parking/ Premier Parking solutions?
  8. A a big "thank you" to you all who try to help me. I really appreciate the support.
  9. Thanks letshelp for the reassuance. So far I have requsted for proof from the debt collectors. I did write a couple of letters addressed to CCScollect and Valley Enforcement. But after advice from kiptower, I decided not to send them. So when the photograph comes, I will just ignore all communications.
  10. Thanks for the link, I just had a quick look. It sounds reassuring, I think I will ignore them from now on and see what happens. I hope it will turn out OK in the end!
  11. Thanks for the advice. Are you saying I should just ignore the letter? What if they write to me again? The debt collecting firm bloke said he will just keep on chasing and chasing until it is paid. But they have a picture of my car?
  12. Can some of the victims of Valley Enforcement Ltd tell me the outcomes if they have not paid the fine?
  13. I was in Crawley in April, parked in the open car park next to Bar Med which is patrolled by Premier Parking Solutions. On my return, I saw a man taking pictures of my car. I grew suspicious and went to ask him what he was doing as I knew my ticket was still valid for a while. What happened was the attendent issued me a ticket, his reason was my car was parked slightly outside the bay. That sneaky b*****d was taking evidence! I challeged him on the spot, pointed out there was another car that was parked outside the bay so he should also give that vehicle a ticket. Coincidentally the owner of the vehicle came to collect the car, I said to the attendent give him a ticket now, his car is outside the bay but he refused. Obviously the owner of the car quickly drove away. I was convinced the b*****d has some sort of discrimination against 4X4s or these cars made a easy target for them! It was quite blatant that its a case of "different rules for different people" In the end I managed to refuse accepting the PCN, he took it back and just left without forcing the issue. Then I managed to take a picture of another vehicle parked outside the bay but without a PCN being issued. At that point I thought the PCN was cancelled. I heard nothing for 2 months, then out of the blue got a letter today from a debt collecting company asking for £127, but the place on contravention is actually somewhere else. The letter indicates their client is Valley Enforcement Ltd not Premier Parking solutions. I am very worried, on the advice of trading standard, I wrote to the debt collector to get them put a hold on the matter. I am also writing to Valley Enforcement claiming I was never at the place they claimed I was and for an explanation as to why they have not contacted me before referring the matter straight to the debt collectors. Do I really have to pay the £127? What if I don't? I am desperate for some advice, please.
