Vanquis card ;are you a victim or know someone who is ?
dragonkeeper replied to MARTIN3030's topic in Other Institutions
for slight deviation on your topic Martin Hi Mikeyp The way round this problem with Vanished(mis-spelt on account that your money does vanish with this card) is to make a cash withdrawal from new card to be paid into your own bank account. Once money is in your account make a debit card payment to Vanished. Other High Risk Credit Cards do the same. It's just trying to make you believe that you are stuck with there card but they will not refuse debit card(cold hard cash talks or cold hard debit card). Also they will accept debit card payment from anyones account to pay your balance. I don't think you can find a nice stranger in the street but if you did they would accept payment, now that would be even better. The fee you pay for cash withdrawal approx 3% is roughly the same as balance tranfer. Hope this helps to get you onto lower % rate. dk -

Hi olliepup You seem to be hung up on your £350 excess, this only comes into play when you make a claim or third party claims against you. As you are claiming against some one elses insurance (ie non-fault) your own excess is safe because the other party insurance will have to foot the all costs (tree surgeons public liability ins) if the tree surgeon refutes the claim then you should have the option to claim against property owner. Then property owner's insurance will take action against tree surgeon. If you think of it as if an other vehicle hit you, you would then claim of the other party. Your insurance legal team will outline this better. So put it all in the hands of your insurance and STOP worrying about our excess. Hope this.helps. dk

It does seem that way Bookie, but Iam not psychic. My opinion is that religion is a very volotile subject to be dicussed even between friends without some kind of falling out. This is only my personal view and not factual or advice in any way or form. I think from reading your posts, like myself you can see both sides of the topic, and can play the role of devils advocate (apt phrase for topic). regards bill dk

So Long, Thanks for All the Fish
dragonkeeper replied to Tezcatlipoca's topic in The Bear Garden – for off-topic chat
The reference to banks etc was intended to ask Flight or Fight no matter what was censored. I do understand the points that have been made, I did manage to read most of the postings in the now deleted threads. Thailand I agree whole heartedly with your above post, Tez and Bookie are 2 of many who disaree with censorship of this magnatude. My little point was mainly about losing ORACLE's of Cag, hence leaving the newer members without there knowledge and in the hands of whom ever is permiting the deletion of entire threads without any explanation. Tez your knowledge will be missed. bill dk -

I am fairly new to this forum and I do not know everybody especialy Cagger's from close to the start of Cag and other long time Cagger's. My question is if it was banks, dca's,dwp, government etc would you still throw in the towel?. After all what is a couple of deleted threads?. Oracle's of Cag such as yourself are still needed to get Cag back on track and keep it on top. There again this is purely my own opinion, you have your opinion and every Cagger has theirs. or or dk -

Bookie Your change of avatar says it all. My own opinion may differ to you but after all when the day ends we are all different people. I posted something out of order, yourself and others let me know (something wicked I might add) so I apologised. No harm No foul. regards bill -

What Made You Want To Swear Today?

Just to cheer you up mazbck count yourself lucky. I had the same fracture but no chipped bone, in plaster up to armpit for 3 months then in plaster to elbow for further 3 months. After the 6 months of plaster the fracture had still not healed. They started thinking to operate to screw the fracture back into place but deceided against op. 3 years later I ended up having an op to my wrist, by this time it needed scaphoid fusing to 2 other bones. The way my luck went I had to have further op because the bones did not fuse properly. After each op I was back in plaster for 6 weeks with the added bonus of the bone retaining pins snagging on the plaster which nicely led straight to fused bones. Time between accident and 2nd op 6 years. 20 years later (2010) it still causes pain. I have had plenty of time in learning how do things. I would think it is slightly more routine now and will not take as long to sort out dk -
I think the Cag members who are doing the upgrade have quite enough on their rather full plate without having to luach a Cag-lite site. site team unfortunatley when you have finished all your hard work upgrading no one will notice. While there are a few niggles CAG is still moving forward. I for one thank you for your hard work. regards bill dk

CP Plus hospital parking fine
dragonkeeper replied to islan's topic in Private Land Parking Enforcement
There is a thread (cannot find it at the moment) where somebody parked in a disabled parking bay at Aintree hospital. (In a nutshell) Ticket issued and ignored (quite rightly). Hospital Trust took driver to Court, the case was basically thrown out. dk -

Off Topic to Apologise To JK I apologise to you, the comment that I was stating about your posting I deleted because it did not meet the politeness of the thread, I did mean to delete the reference to yourself, as you posted after my remark you you only replied to a posting. To Bookworm and the other poster's of this thread I read more into the Rule 3.5 A thread/post will be edited or deleted if it contains: a) Xenophobia, racism, personal abuse, or incitement intended to cause disruption within a thread (commonly known as a "flame war") So I apologise to all poster's in this thread It seems I was over cautious. dk ps open to pm's if the need still arises.
