  1. I would appreciate any help with regards to this issue please... Its sooooo annoying!! I took out a contract phone back in December from phones4u.co.uk and received the phone, all was fine until i went to use it, there was a problem with the telephone number so i spoke to phones4u, they referred me to vodafone who then reset my telephone number and gave me an alternative one, This worked fine and all was well... i continued to pay my bills and my insurance on time each month. Then last month i had a problem with my bank (santander) re a bank charge, i sorted that problem out again and closely looked over my bank statements, i receive my statement in the post today and to my amazement - after not going 1 pence overdrawn this month, i had a £30 bank charge!! obviously confused, i looked into this and noticed my insurance policy had been debiting my account on the 23rd of each month and this caused me to go overdrawn as i don't get payed until the 28th i did not have adequate fund in the account to pay my insurance. I started to wonder why it would come out then because no one in there right mind would set a direct debit up 5 days before pay day. I looked through all my paperwork for the policy i got back in December and it does not state anywhere a direct debit date of which they will take money from my account. i was very confused with this so i read there policy and also noticed that the policy is only active for the telephone number stated on the service agreement form, i looked at this and noticed that this was the telephone number that vodafone changed back in December... so in effect i have been paying £6.99 a month insurance for a phone that would not be covered and it has also caused me to go overdrawn as well and incur further charges to my bank! i am very annoyed at this and i know when i contact them they will not pay my bank charge as i should have checked it and they will not refund me my money as i should have also informed them of the change of telephone number. i would just like to know how to dispute this and take this further and if it is worth my while trying to do anything about it. Thank you very much for any help you guys can supply me with
  2. Hello... I need a little help with this one please, I bought an LG 37" LCD TV from Tesco 4 months ago, it was ex-display, and we decided to wall mount it, the stand had a crack in it at the point of purchase so we decided to dispose of the stand as it was no use to us and we had no box to keep it in as it was ex-display. However all the leads, maunals and controllers were still there. Inevitably, the TV is now faulty as it is displaying all the colors in an unusual manor, I took the TV back to the Tesco store i bought the TV from and they refused me an exchange or even try to repair as there was no stand included. I am not asking for a refund, Just for a TV that works as it cost me a lot of money! I think this is a terrible attitude to have with myself considering the same Tesco store 2 months prior almost broke my ankle when one of there employees rolled a big metal cage FULL of stock over my ankle and i decided to accept a verbal apology from the manager of the store. Much appreciate any help i could have with this incident. Thank you
