  1. Fair enough to give them a chance - also good to know your rights in advance!
  2. I think that after the Hamilton defence, new regs were brought in with stricter penalties for refusing to say who was driving. If you genuinely do not know, then I think it's still a defence.

  4. Remember that the fact that they give you a warranty doesn't negate your legal rights. Did you check the aircon before you bought the car? Did you test drive it?
  5. There's a site called UK Speeding that says you can ask for copies of photographic evidence. So ask them for the photos / stills of the video and bobs your uncle, you'll be able to tell who's driving.
