  1. Have you got the correct email address? I sent one last month with attahments and it went ok. [email protected]
  2. I have got all the information from the court now. What should I write in the letter to Bryan Carters?
  3. Gaz If the readings are four digits then it is Metric metre and 5 digits for an Imperial. (Sorry just double checked this and it's wrong Imperial can also be 4 digits, my appologies. Best way to check is on the metre if it says ft3 then it's imperial and m3 it's metric.)She could have either been overcharged for an imperial metre as you suggest or just been took the Michael out of as they tried with me (see below). If you could upload the bills so I can see metre readings/dates/rates/Calorific.Value etc on each of the bills then it will give me a better understanding of if your mum was overcharged. I've had nothing but problems with N-power since I joined them in June 2008 to leaving them - just going through this process at the minute. One of my biggest disputes (had numerous over different things) was last Sept when I got a summer gas bill (April - Sept) for £450 when the only thing using gas during this time was the stove. We checked the metre and realised they'd billed us for an extra 1000units. We got this ammended and they sent us a new bill with correct reading for £50 less. So I took it upon myself to work out the bill, and it actualy came to £27 so rang them to tell THEM how it was worked out (it shut a rather smug customer service rep up who was insisting the bill was correct as it was). Within a week I had the correct bill on my doormat. If your mum as been overcharged and as all the bills then I can't see a reason why she wouldn't get this back. The utility companies have to keep her account information on file for so many years (I think it's 6) under the money laundering rules. Always work out the bills yourself as ALL utility companies are know for adding £10 - £100's on bills!!
  4. I'll get the SAR sent out tonight be recorded delivery. I'll keep you informed of what happens next. Thanks.
  5. It got logged on my Credit File 01/05/07.
  6. cerberusalert I sent them a letter similar to this about a month (possibly 2 months ago) that they have completly ignored.
  7. I don't think I had payment protection out on the Credit Card as I had just turned 18 when I got it so didn't think of anything like that. Will Capital One still have all the information on my account? Also will they be able to send this out to me, as I shredded the majority of it when the CCJs got paid off.
  8. PGH7447 I will contact Northampton County Court to get the information for the two CCJ's. What should I put in the letter to SRA? Will this help get one of them removed from my Credit File?
  9. Hi Harrassed Senior Thank you so much for your prompt reply. What would I put in the prove it letter? Or is there a template I could use? They obviously have no intention of taking it to the Solicitors/court as it is still 'in-house' 4 years on. I have recieved no information about the debt in 4 years and am still recieving no information (mail/phone calls etc) unless I ring/write and then I am lucky if I get anywere.
  10. Hi I became a Represenative for Avon back in May 2005 for 2 months. Was only for two months as the items always arrived late if at all, so I paid off the account. However I checked my Credit File a few months back and noticed I have a default on it from Avon for £144. I contacted the Reps number and they had trouble finding my account to start with then told me it was with Avon Collections and they couldn't give me any information on this as I had to contact the collections department. So I rang the collections department who I asked for information on the debt and they said they could only send me a statment (I want Orders/delivery invoives etc for proof of the debt) as they don't keep hold of the other information for this long. How do I go about getting this removed from my Credit file, as I don't believe the debt is true and they can't supply me the efficient information I'm asking for. P.s I've asked for a copy of the CCA which they sent me a copy of the Representatives agreement.
  11. Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I opened a Capital one account in January 2004 (balance £200), and being young and daft with money at the time got behind with payments, which ended up with ridiculous late payment charges and got a default on my credit file for £701 (Defaulted 01/04/2005). Due to the circumstances of late payments it got passed on to Bryan Carters Solicitors who issued me with a CCJ of £258 in August 2005 which was paid off in December 2006 (never knew I had it before then). In March 2007 another CCJ got put against me from Bryan Carters for the amount of £410 (still Capital One account). I paid this off in full in the August as it was affecting my chance of getting a house. Is there any way I can get the one or both of the CCJs set aside as I have since become aware that this is against the law to issue two CCJs for the same debt. Thanks in advance.
