My friend is in the same boat as everyone here and now to top it all Barclays have handed her debt to a Debt Collector they have told her she has 7 days to pay up.Anyone else had this happen or any advice on what to do next????

Anyone been threatened with debt collectors?

As far as I know she didn't put account on hold,what will that mean to her? I'm not really up on banking procedures so would be grateful for any advice I can pass on.

She's with Barclays, i have read lots of info and given her some numbers that were on here..she's cancelled payments but is getting letters from Barclays she's very worried as everyone is I'm sure

My friend fell for this [problem] too, she's gutted from Norwich...who can she call? She's not a young woman and this has totally floored her hence I'm writing this for her. Anyone any advice?????
