if they keep pestering you on the phone,, tell them that this call is being recorded for evidence, to pass on to your solicitor,(who incidentally is a real one), graham white are not solicitors just some guy who put the threat o grams in all the different named companies envelopes you will recieve,( perhaps on about £2-00 p/h,and an illegal),, ignore no matter what,do not let this worry you in any way,, you aint done anything wrong,, even if you had, which you havent,, this shower of cow pats can do jack you know what about it.

parking charge notices are not backed by law,its just an unenforceable invoice,, best advice is to ignore nothing wil/can happen to you, pity your mrs made contact, but from now on ignore completely,, roxburghe debt collectors are well known on here and bunch of jerks who hopefully are about to lose their licence,, i am only a newbie to this site and more educated folk in this line will be along with more info for you,, but rest assured parking charge notices equate to loo paper at best,,relax dont worry,, dont pay a penny and most of all dont contact,, you will recieve further loo paper threatening everying but execution,,nothing will happen,,just read this part of the forum and you will see.

jamberson thanks again, but to clarify the witness statement bit,, are you saying that comes with the order for recovery letter,,i.e. relevant form? or does she have to contact them,, sorry its me being thick here.

as stated in my follow up post she was mistaken as leter was not apparantly waiting on return from holiday it actually came a couple of weeks after she returned,, it appears as though all is in order and she will bite the bullet and pay, thank you for your reply.

hi again,, further info,,,letter from wirrall council states,, its a charge certificate,,pcn ----------- served on 9/3/11,served n.t.o on 13/4/11 in respect of this contravention,,,,it did not come whilst she was away in fact a few weeks after return from holiday,, i guess this is legal and she has to pay up? thanks for any advice.

an aquaintance of mine has sent me a pm asking for advice, i feel somewhat out of my league and am unable to safely answer question,,,,,i parked in a permit holders road,,,on one side it was permit holders only and the other(where i parked) non permit holders between 9-5pm,,i parked at 4.30pm but got delayed and returned to my car at 5.20pm,,there was no ticket,,following day i went abroad for two weeks on return there was a letter from wirrall council fining me(she did not put amount have pm her for amount)just stating the name of the road and the words,,,non resident parking 9-5pm,, i guess she will have to cough up but is this usual process? should they not enclose photo or some clear evidence???? thank you.
