  1. moorcroft have been spamming me for about 6months with litigation warnings, before that I had metropolitian spamming me. I ignore everything, Moorcroft litigation; I suggest you book a holiday to Mars and when you return, deal with it
  2. Hi Just a quick question; I have an outstanding personal loan with A&L (Santander). I know I have it, and I know it must have defaulted by now, no payments in about 8months. However, I have recieved nothing from them or their DCA. I have just checked my credit file (Credit Expert), and they, Santander (have defaulted me), have linked me with an address up the street, about 20 doors, which is strange since they always had my correct address, as did their mortgage side. I'm guessing they typo'd and now someone I dont know, have never been affiliated with, and have certainly never lived with is getting my demands? So what should I do? Is this their's or my problem? Many thanks
  3. Thank you for your time on this, I really do appreciate it. So you're suggesting, I can get what I want and give them what I want? I have read its nothing for them to change credit files, if they so want. So if they want ~£3K, the this can be a inspiration as opposed to £5 per month, forever! I just want to settle what I owe, ~£3k apiece with 3 DCAs and a couple of smaller amounts >£1K with others. I hadn't thought on negoiating the value of what I owe. I'm thinking that money is power with these people and they might succome to my advance and give me my credit rating back, in return for their blood money.
  4. Hi, I've had a quick browse around and couldn't find info I'm after, so I wanted to ask: If its possible to negioate with Debt Collectors in respect of paying of your debts (in full) and getting them to remove their default entries from your credit file? I have read elsewhere this is possible, and you first ask them to send a written agreement through to this effect, before settling with them. Does anyone know of this, and if you do how best should I go about it? I'm in a position now to pay of some of my debts, but I know my credit file has suffered and it will affect my ability to gain any financial backing for a family home, regardless of deposit size. In a nutshell, my credit history has been pretty good, until 2yrs ago when I lost my job and simply couldn't afford to pay my debts after 12months of unemployment. I've been hounded for the last 12months by several debt agencies and I have probably lost 10years of my life in stress Now I can clear stuff and I'm hoping I can get my good credit rating back by playing hardball with these agencies by negoiating a 'deal'? Whereby they get there's and I get a gesture? Many thanks
  5. Cahoot are a bunch of sharks. I have a very similar problem where a £500 o/d exceeded limit by about a £1. I now owe over £1300, in charges and interest and original debt. I got letters every so often informing me off charges, so I applied to increase my o/d limit to mitigate the effect of the £30 charge; denied... I wrote them asking for help: no response. I let it simmer a bit longer to incur further charges while I 'forgot about it'. It still accumulates. I asked again for help, to be ignored, I wrote template from this site to them about refunding chrages and got a big bogoff letter. I forgot about it, hope six months hasnt passed so I can now refer it to an ombudsman. I have actually told them to default it please, at least the charges will stop accuring, no worries about credit rating as its already screwed, thanks to negligient banks (santander) and how they lose important things to mess an everyday guy like me up in my life plans. (Big story see my other posts) Banks are S H_Arks, and I think the bible tells us that. As for Cahoot, its not even automated bots that send the letters and look after our accounts, its some really dumb people from Coventry. I used to walk past the office when I walked to Uni... Ps the crux is here that they were imbasile lenders, lending to anyone and his/her dog. an interest free £500 overdraft for almost anyone if I remember.... But like anything thats too good to be true, it usually is as I'm finding out and QotS. Feel free to Pm me for any private discussion on this trash.
  6. No replys Since that post, I have defaulted on 2 credit cards, and made arrangements with DCAs, I'm also about to default again on a personal loan, and possibly a student current a/c I have (£300), and a cahoot current a/c (£1300 ( £800 in charges)) and a few other smelly slippers in the closet.... I have also lost being able to buy a home for my family and to clear my debts with the house sale that my financial 'INSTITUTION' lost me. I have reduced the purchase price on my house by over £20k to try and shift it in a depreciating market. Ultiamtely I had an offer to sell my house, bank lost deeds and lied about it for 4wks, I lost sale (2 weeks to go), along with at least 20K atm, along with my credit rating (2 defaults and counting), and stress, and no proper home for my family. So who pays for it? O.o and I forgot to mention bank offered £150 compo sicne the last post Sry if I sound abrupt, I'm asking for advice and help, but dont like to think of how I've been hammered in too much detail, or it makes me angry Case referred to ombudsman, who uphelp £150 compo, so I referred it to an actual ombudsman, who is soooo busy I've been in a queue for about 2months (No surprises on how busy they get tbh).
  7. Momument are a bunch of idiots. I know someone who paided off £6k to them in one go recently to clear the account, but funnily enough there was still a few days 'interest' left to pay. so they have been hounding this customer for weeks now looking for aprrox £10. They're an absolute joke. Don't let these parasites drag you down, life's bigger than that nonsense! Whoever said money was the root of all evil, wasn't far off the mark tbh; and we're supposed to be a 'developed' country?!? (I dont even think we've started off down the road on that journey).
  8. Hi there, sry if this isn't in right forum, but; The Alliance and Leicester have lost my title deeds My house is currently nearing competion on the sale, and we have been given the run around for 3weeks by A&L on where the title deeds were. Stressfully, the buyers have said that they will pull out of the sale if it is not completed by the end of the month. I have lodged a complaint with A&L in regards to this, who have said they will pull out all the stops etc. to have the reconstituted deeds ready in time. I don't hold out much hope tbh and think the sale may fall through. The solicitor is also looking at a caretakers agreement, which would let the purchaser move into the house before being in possession of the deeds and myself being in possession of the capital. 1. I'm absolutely fuming about the neglience that has been displayed, not to mention the valuable time wasted by my solicitor (8 phone calls to A&L) getting to the truth, which has ultimately stalled the situation further. 2. I don't know of any further avenues I can pursue to appease my feelings on this matter and to stir A&L up even further to allow me to get the deeds and house sold. I'm just wanting to ask if anyone here knows of anything else I should be doing to smooth the passage of the sale? And to boot A&L have offered me £35 compensation for all the anxiety they have caused me :? Any thoughts welcome
