Hi They first wrote to me over a year ago, claiming they had taken out a ccj against me at uxbridge court. I checked with uxbridge court and this was true. However i have never had a debt with them, or citi finance credit card. The ccj took place in 1995 at an address that i didnt move into to 1997. I was advised on this site to just ignore, i had a further letter 2 months later and again due to the length of time advised not to respond, now a year later i have received the one i posted today. I have never contacted them, the only contact i have had was with uxbridge court, i was never informed about any action against myself and the court had no documentation other than a judgement. now not sure what to do

Hi I have an issue with Hillesden securites. I have received a letter from a solictors working on their behalf. Stating I owe over £5,000 from a credit card in the mid 90's. I have not had this credit card nor do I owe this money. I have had only 2 credit cards, one in the last 80's which was paid off and certainly was not citi credit and the other which i currently manage very well. The letter starts "we are about to issue a warrant of execution against you. This will incur an additional court fee which will be added to the amount you already owe". If goes on to talk about court bailiff calling at my address and taking my goods. I am not to contact the solicitor but direct legal and collections only (which i understand is also hillesden securities) Does anyone have any advice on how to procedeed, this is clearly not my debt, I have never run up a debt even close to £5k. Should i be worried about this? plus what can I do to address the problem Many thanks Scoobydp
