  1. Hello All, I was involved in a non-fault accident in Sep' 09, my car was written-off after the accident. I was insured with Collingwood insurance company that time. My claim was accepted. They paid me Car Value minus excess amount on my policy. They told me excess on my policy will be paid later when they receive it from third party insurance company. It's been more than 5 months now - whenever I call them - they have same excuse that third party insurance company is not paying excess amount so they are chasing them. I am fed up of calling them and chasing them, I am not sure what I can do to get my excess amount on policy - Is my insurance company acting fairly here? Shouldn't they pay me excess on my policy irrespective of they getting that money from third party insurance??? Any Help will be Appreciated Thanks..
  2. Problem is I really liked that property and I dont want to let it go because of this greedy little estate agent. Is there no Regulatory body or associaiton to govern these charges?
  3. Hello All, I'm new to the site, my quest to find out if I'm being ripped off by an estate agent brought me here. Recently I liked a property in Maidenhead to rent, I want to go ahead and start renting it but estate agent is asking £270 in total as admin charge. It includes credit checks, referral checks and inventory - but I feel this is too much - I want to know what are the general charges and am I paying too much here? Thanks in Adv...
