  1. Prehaps wonga are trying to help where they can, set themself apart from all the other payday cowboys that are knocking around. Would certainly make sence. Why wouldnt they accept payment plans from people? i do think they are obliged to realy.
  2. Evening guys, Sorry about the delay on this. I have been working quite a bit! Im not sure what i did that exactly got my cash back but i did send an email round to various parts of wonger including there investors. Had a realy good chat with there collections manager on sunday afternoon and they gave me all of my cash back minus £50 wich is the ammount i have agreed to pay on a monthly basis. Im not sure if i have been lucky or i just got my point accross but wonga have been realy good about this. Damien

  5. Cheers for the reply, are you saying they do this quite a bit to people? i cant believe a genuine company can get away with this...its basicly a [problem]
  6. Evening all, Having a pretty rough time with wonga and got no idea what to do. They have taken £1190.00 from my account today. This was for a loan of £400 taken out 3 months ago. did 2 rollovers wich took it to £850. My hours have been cut at work so couldnt make a payment last month, i rang them to make an offer of £50 a month and they declined this and told me it would go to debt collection. They have been adding intrest at about £150 a week for the last for weeks, I got payed today and they have taken everything! any ideas what i can do? The collections woman said nothing about this when i asked her what would happen cheers guys n gals

  9. hey guys, realy appreciate the advice! haha i was shouting when id finished on the fone with them! The bloke i spoke to today said they didnt have any paperwork and its been 7 years since any payments were made. This site has been realy helpful, i have done a letter with the help of the forum (asking to see the original documents and agreements (they dont have them and city financial are no longer trading as far as i can see????) going to get it in the post in the morning by special delivery. or do i not need to do anything at all here? cheers all
  10. Hi Guys, Just had a card land fromDLC/Hillsden Securities. I rang them to see what this was all about... It turns out its from a debt from 2002 from city finacial. aparenty i made some payments around that time to clear off 500ponds, i still owe them 900 pounds. when i rang them today i offered to pay them 50pounds a month starting from my next paydate. they said that wouldnt do, and id have to pay some money toady (i dont have it). if i dont pay them today then they would get a CCJ and attach my wages. I did ask for a copy of the original agreement, he said they dont have it but can get it if i write to them and give them one pound. Does all this sound right? what can i do here? if you people need more info just ask? hellllllllllllp Cheers Damien
  11. Hi guys n gals, I have just got home from work to find a united utilities bill for over £1500.00! i live in a high rise housing association flat and was led to believe i dont have to pay water rates, the bill they have sent me is for the last 4 and a half years. I havnt had any letters or anything before today. I did have a knock at my door about 2months ago from a guy from united utils, he took my name and said i wouldnt have to pay because of where i live. Any ideas? Cheers Damien
