  1. Thanks frettful38, Does anyone know if the figures are right please?
  2. My friend has asked me to post up their CCA agreement to see if the figures calculated are correct. He does not want to know if it is enforceable or not, its just that he believes that he has been overcharged and the figures that the insurance company have calculated are incorrect. My friend is a taxi driver and has taken out this insurance. He was told that it would cost him in total £750, and that he would have to pay £200 deposit, after that the remaining sum would be paid in installments. Breakdown: Total = £749.66 Deposit = £200 Balance =£549.66 premium credit
  3. Thank you BB for your help. I am sorry I have not been able to reply as my internet and pc broke down and I had no access. I will do as you advised and let you know what response I get. Thank you once again:)
  4. Right I wrote a letter to BC offering to pay in installments, this was about a few weeks ago. I have not received any reply yet. Yesterday I received this letter regarding the debt with EON but from another company, so really do not understand what is going on, any advice would be great please http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq223/sophiak_bucket/EON2ndDCA.jpg They are asking for the sum of £558.00
  5. Thanks again BB sound advice, I have received statements from EON and was wandering do you think that it is a good idea before setting up any payment arrangements with BC that I should ask EON for a full breakdown of charges applied to my account. It was EON's fault for not sending me the correct bills on time, causing confusion, but if I am liable to pay then it is only fair that I pay what I truly owe and no more. I could write to BC and ask him to hold all action until I receive a breakdown of charges from EON, just my thought and would appreciate what your opinion is please.
  6. Thank you BB, now I have a very clear understanding of what to do, and would like to thank you so much for helping me out. I would not have a clue if you did not help, and I appreciate that so much. As soon as I hear from BC I will let you know, in the mean time thanks a lot once again.
  7. Thanks pinky, Right, as I have not heard anything to my letters, I guess I would have to write a letter to Bryan Carter with a proposal of payment. My worry is that I know he will not accept and will take me to court, after reading about him on the forums really does put the chills up me. So what can I do. Should I send BC a copy of my Income & Expenditure form? Also a letter explaining my situation and this is all I can afford, and if he decides to take me to court then I will present the court with the exact information that I have presented him with.
  8. Thanks BB, I am very grateful for your help through this. I have just had a look at BC's letters and he states that EON are his clients, so guess that I will have to co-operate with BC then?
  9. Thanks pinky, I will wait to see what bills EON send, and I don't think I would qualify for help from EON and I did apply to the trust fund and they rejected me. My only worry is that will BC take me to court, as I cannot afford to pay all this sum at once, and can only pay a token payment.
  10. Thank you pinky for that, it is very useful. I have just checked my email as I wrote a complaint to EON and it is not good news, its not that I do not want to pay but I do not know where to go from here or who to contact. I have copied the reply and would like some help out of this mess that I have got myself in to please. I really do not know what I was doing and now I am panicking what will happen so any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Dear Mrs xxxxxxxx I appreciate that we did not send your final electricity bill until 10 July 2009 although your supply le
  11. Thanks BB, was hoping you would drop in. I wrote the letters I believe on 27 May 10, after coming off here. I will come to some sort of arrangement, but I think the £600'ish is quite a lot of money seeing as they state that my final bill was about £450'ish. If charges are allowed to be added as pinky said in the contracts and terms, how would I find out as I do not have a copy of these charges.
  12. Thanks for your reply pinky, I am not trying to avoid paying my debt and that is not what I am trying to do. I admit I had been silly changing suppliers, but everytime I used to go to the shopping centre I was always being approached by these companies offering savings on fuel bills, and at that time I thought I was getting a bargain. This however was not so and that is the reason why I changed 3 times in the past few years. I am ok now with the one I have now, but really do not believe that I owe over £600 or so to EON. BB advised me to write a letter to EON and complain which
  13. Thanks pinky, am so confused with this, I will have to wait to see what response I get to the letters that I sent I guess, I have posted up a few more letters that I found from N Power, http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq223/sophiak_bucket/Picture001-2.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq223/sophiak_bucket/Picture002-1.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq223/sophiak_bucket/Picture003-2.jpg
