You can only get the financial ombudsman involved after 8 weeks of your first letter of complaint and yes your right you will prob get a general fob off letter e mail fuzzbutt on this forum with your details he has set up a case to try and get us are money back and agreements cancelled and has been workin very hard in tryin to.

Right just been on the phone giving it rock all telling that i was not happy with my final response in regards that compu****e are not a like for like provider in that fact that im now over 2 years which they will not support me now and cannot do the exams in my local college, if i fail the exams i have unlimited attempts which advent promised the girl was like have you phoned them yourself i said no and wont be dont want anything to do with them ive spoke to other advent students who have and they have told me what the situation is not to mention its all over the internet!! she was just like aww you need to phone them yourself which part of no did she not understand? stupid cow i also said sure you pulled the plug on mckensie fraser also on compu****e last year and she was like it was a business decision and i said so what did you call the situation with advent i said another business decsion she didnt know what to say i said its bloody obvious what use are at you dont wanna be forkin out thousands of pounds to studends who paid there hard enough earned cash to use back again i just said i will be taking legal advise now and you wont be gettin another penny from me she just said i would advise you to maintain payments i said no chance sing for it just hope the fos helps now.

Just got another letter from Barclays saying i refer to your ongoing complaint. I would like to update you on my investigation into your complaint. Since i last wrote to you i have been investigating the concerns you raised. then goes on i am not yet in a position to provide you with a full response because we are still carrying out our investigation.When i receive the information i need i will write to you again this should be no later than the 14th April 2010. A full response has taken a little bit longer than we expected and at this stage you do have the option to ask the financial ombudsman service to review your complaint already 1 step ahead why does this not surprise me yet another fob off letter hopefully the financial ombudsman service will see that barclays are a bunch of crooks and sort this out for everyone anyone else had this letter?

Abit of an update people spoke to my citizens advice this morning and he told me that if your contract does not say anything about barclays being able to make alterations ie pick and choose your provider then they are in breach also to cancel my dd because if im seen paying it then im accepting the change that they are... trying to force also that they are backing down by putting account on hold (freeze) so they know there in breach he also said if it needs to go to court then so be it but its gonna be a fight my agreement is the green bit of paper from september 07 dont know if everyones is exactly the same. Also if your goin for credit and there is a black mark as they say he also told me to say its in dispute and reasons why it in dispute
