  2. Hi all Looking for a bit of help, again. My wife was shopping and overstayed her free welcome by 18 minutes as shown in the attached file (hopefully have deleted all pers info). I havent contacted them to say, cmon its 18 minutes over, however wondering if there is anything legal I can go back to them on? I know that local authority tickets have to be issued within 14 days however any chance that works with private companies such as this? Any help appreciated. Thx
  3. Hi all Got a letter from OPUS saying they were increasing my rate by 6% and using the reason "Pass Through Amounts" increase (PTI). Havent got a problem with that as we already pay the CCL etc so figured it was another one of those, however upon checking the bill there is no separate PTI stated, its just a set 6% increase on rates. I have checked the T&Cs and it states they can increase 2 ways. First, they can increase if the cost of the supply is more than the contracted rate. However this doesnt apply. Second, they can increase if due to a rise in the PT Amounts. However shouldnt PTA be separated on the invoice, ie like the CCL? To me it just looks like a rise for nothing? I have queried this again with them as my first dispute re this was before I got the invoice and then I was told it would be listed separately. Now I have the invoice I want proof this is a PTI. Anyone else had similar issues and am I right in challenging this? They have a clause stating that I can cancel my contract if they rise in breach of clause 8.1, ie if the cost of supply is more than the contract rate. Thx

See I asked that, to get confirmation and she said I would get confirmation by email and letter however the first email that came out only told me I had renewed my DTV for another year, didnt mention price, just the 35% off offer, which coincidentally is the £32.01. Original price is £49.25, less 35% brings me to £32.01. Which is why I am concerned when she has told me this is the price for everything however it matches exactly just the TV offer. Then I get my letter confirming BB/LR which is stated as £11 LR and £2.50 BB per month. Still less than I would be paying for my TV overall however bit miffed considering she told me it was £32.01 for everything. So it gets more confusing when my mysky page shows everything and also £32.01. Hoping she has just cocked up and not charged me for BB/LR
  7. Hi all Coming back from a year away from Sky for BB/LR as they were unwilling to offer a deal in 2014. When I was on the phone discussing renewing my TV, which was also out, as well as "upgrading" to BB/LR, she quoted a price of £32.01 for everything. Now the woman I was talking to was nice enough however seemed a bit "doozie", sounded like she didnt know what she was talking about. So, to keep myself right, and hopefully they were recording the call, I asked several times before she done her legal bumf to confirm that indeed it was £32.01 for everything, DTV/BB/LR and she said yes. So, I check my my sky page and in the subscriptions page it shows DTV renewed, BB/LR to start 30/7/15, and shows my next 3 months subscriptions amounts to be £32.01 every month. So it looks like I am getting everything for £32.01. However in the event something has went pear shaped and in a months time I get reverted back to the bog standard price, do I have a comeback?

  9. Hi all Dont know if in correct section, couldnt see a PPI bit, please move if there is lol In a nutshell, father started a PPI claim with Citi, passed away and mother took it over. Got letter from Citi agreeing an amount was due. Sent back what they needed however havent received cheque and that was due end of October. Have tried emailing the crtassist email to no response. Tried calling 08003582101, no answer. Does anyone know of any other contact details? P.S Sent special delivery letter to Worthing address which was then redirected to another address and signed for there
  10. Hi again Previous accountant had signed us up to a 3 year deal however we are looking to move to a different supplier. The agreement is worded, where he has signed, Customers Authorised Signature. However he isnt a signatory and as such the company director signed the DD mandate. Can we get out of the contract on the basis that he isnt a company signatory and therefore had no right to sign as such? Pretty thin I know but they are sharks, I mean, a 3 month notice period as well!!! Any advice welcomed. Thanks
  11. Hi all My father passed away last month however a few months prior to that he had started talks with one of the "we will help you get PPI back" companies. I know what these guys are like and they have contacted my mother who is not up to speed on their tactics etc and she has agreed to continue the claim. However my query is, there is no official executor as he had no will, so how can they get the info they need from the institutions? Next of kin wont be able to access it will they? Also, am I right in assuming that any money they get from any claim should they be able to get the info will be received by the estate and then dispersed out? At the time of passing he had a Barclaycard, RBS Card (both around £1k balances and was always at that level) and an Argos card. He had had a loan in the past that was paid off. He also had something from Creation which was related to a purchase from PC World/Currys etc. TBH I dont really want to put my mother through all the hassle which these guys are likely to do, because its not just a case of my mother signing an authority form. She has to do everything I would imagine. And all that to be hit with a massive charge at the end of it. Am I right in my assumptions? Or close?
  12. It was sent via Parcelforce however they dont refund on this category of goods apparently. I have emailed them just now to check on progress (thats a joke lol) and will see what they say. I understand what your saying though, not claiming on the damage but the undeliverability. The only thing though is that the tracking number looks like its been re used by Parcelforce because it shows activity today.

Another Ebay problem lol Trying to keep as brief as possible, sold an item to a guy, it arrived broken, he sent it back str8 away, didnt arrive back, tracking reference says delivery not completed, ebay know delivery not completed per live chat I had, ebay refunded the buyer and now they are chasing me for reimbursement fees. My card was damaged and I got a new one, so they couldnt take it auto thank god. In Ebays T&C's, they state that once the item is returned then they would reimburse the buyer. However they reimbursed him before knowing it was returned. Its only £36.56 but its the principle. Numerous emails in dont even get a response. Live chat wont help they tell me to call in. I called in and got a foreign lass who needed me to repeat everything I said. And basically said to contact the buyer. Personally though its not my responsibility to do this. And I have ebay rep on live chat admitting this too. I really want to sue them for harassment as now I have debt collectors chasing me. If I received the item back then fair enough, but I havent, so why should I pay?? If they would respond to emails then maybe I could get into a dialogue with them, or even speak to an "english" operator who understands the f***n language Any ideas on next move?
  14. Got a letter from them today which said We write to confirm that we have noted the dispute/query that you have raised. We will make the necessary enquiries and let you know the outcome in due course. In the meantime we will stop all collection activity for this account. Do you think I will get a reply saying its been written off?
