  1. I'm not really entertaining him. I haven't seen or said a word to him in about 5 weeks. It's my dads house and he's telling him stuff about my debt which I'm not happy about to be honest. I'm just never there to put a stop to it. He left a number I called (witheld my number) but it's a dead line lol. Think he's digging his own grave
  2. Sorry for late reply been really busy. He came again on a day and time we didn't agree and started harassing him again saying he can't do 11 on Saturday as he has other commitments even tho I signed something to say he'll be collecting my money then. He said he'll come tomorrow at 5:30pm according to my dad. Think I should tell him to sod off
  3. Believe me I've tried. Morecrap will only take the pmt in full and lloyds want nothing more to do with the debt
  4. the debt is with lloyds tsb. just bank charges and over stuff. only around £250 it i think
  5. thats for the reply guys, i take it you don't like these people lol. don't get me wrong i know how to deal with him but the problem im having is he's coming to my house pestering my dad when i'm not around which i don't agree with. if he turns up again what shall i say. he's also left his number to. sorry for the dumb question but i never had this happen before, and the debt was originally with Lloyds
  6. First off I like to apologise I'm writing this from my iPhone as my pc is not working. I had 2 debts with these people one I managed to pay off as the door step agent started to harrass my dad as I wasn't home in time to pay him. Now I have another one which I know I owe, he came to my house and we agreed he would come every Saturday at 11 for £15pw I signed the agreement saying that then he went. The following Saturday he never turned up phoned his office and left my number and they said they would pass on the message 3 weeks later still nothing so I left another message. Finally yesterday (Friday 15th) he came spoke to my dad to say he doesn't work my area oftern and can only come at 8am Saturday my dad said he should be in to which I was but in bed. He posted a card to say I've been but no answer at 8PM AS WE AGREED which I never agreed. The point I'm making is I feel he's harrasing my dad who's 71 alto he is very active for his age who has nothing to do with it and now 3 weeks later he turns up for money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ben.
  7. :???:Good evening. sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, mods please move if that is the case I'm writing this on behalf of my dad who will be 71 in april, he was a cheif maintenance Engineer for the Economist in London, He retiered from there in 2000 (at the time the retierment age being 60), he then became a bus driver for 10 years. He's been recieving a pension from his old job as well as wages since 2000 and then his state pension from the age of 65. The reason for this post my dad has recieved a letter from the "tax man" saying he owes £7000 in backdated taxs from 2008 till now. my dad nearly having a heart attact lol thought this cant be right and was thinking this was something to do with the busses as this was his last emplyment. turns out it wasn't that and it was from his pension he was getting from 2000. He's phoned the Economist who didnt understand it as he said he was paying a high tax code anyway I believe but will get back to my dad. It's been 2 weeks now i can understand these things can take time but my dad is going to refuse to pay at the moment as he has done everything he has meant to of done and doesn't understand how this has happened as he has been paying tax from his pension for 11 years now. any help would be greatful
  8. Hi there this is to do with my friend and his employees. they had the bank holidays from christmas (27th 28th) and the monday after the new year (3rd) which i think is bank holidays. The company is using there holiday entitilement to pay them and now they have lost 3 days holiday and the new guys havn't been paid as they havn't got enough holiday entitlement yet. can they do this?
  9. i would say leave your old sim in your phone and when it goes dead switch the sims and it should work fine. it's not on them doing this.
  10. it will do, when the switch over is done your old sim will just go dead, so when that happens swap sims and the other should be working. did they say how long its going to take?
  11. well you can still use the old sim card? if that helps if you're not using it already?
  12. I dunno about tesco but if i can remember correctly should only take 3 days, ported mine from o2 to orange, and I've ported numbers from orange to t-mobile they only took 3 days. i would say contact them to make sure what's going on
