  1. One more thing. Will an SAR cover all of my accounts with them. Thanks
  2. Thanks. I've just wrote to them asking how I can complete the rest of my claim as they have only sorted out part of it. Thanks for your help
  3. They state in their letter that they are paying up to 2010 (even though I have continued paying the 'payment break plan' fee up until last month' . So what I am really asking is 'Is it possible to claim for payment break plan being mis sold from 2010 to date or would I be wasting my time. Thanks.
  4. Thanks. My sister had the same letter from them about her claim and she said she spoke to them and they told her that the payments she has been making for the last few years were for a payment break plan and not ppi. I've just checked my statements and mine also say payment break plan. Is it worth following this up with a sar request. Also, i don't know if it would make any difference but I haven't been working since 2009 due to having 3 children so would the payment break plan of been any good to me anyway, or it that not their problem. I have never signed anything to say I wanted it. They have credited my bank account with their offer this morning without me accepting it if that makes any difference. Should I just accept it? Thanks again
  5. Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes the card is still active and since 2010 it has probably had the most debt on it lol. I will give them a call on Monday and see what they say. Thanks for your help
  6. No I didn't. Would I need to considering they have admitted it was mis sold and they have paid out on the first 9 years but not the more recent 5 years. Thanks.
  7. Hi. Quick question. I've just had an offer on my ppi. Card was taken out in sept 2001 but they have only done the calculations from that date up to May 2010. Policy was still in force until I cancelled it last month. Any ideas why they have done this. Thanks for any help
  8. Help needed please. My sister has just got home to find a hand written envelope from marstons saying they have called. It is for her ex partner that no longer lives at the address. Any advice on what she can do. He has no fixed forwarding address but she knows his employment details etc. thanks
  9. Hi. I am looking for advice regarding my ex partners csa claim. Basically my ex moved to south africa with my son 2 years ago. I only found out about this 6 months ago as I have not been in contact with my son. When I found out they had moved I notified csa and they said they would look into it. I left it a month and didn't hear anything so I cancelled my weekly payment to them as it was my understanding that I didn't have to pay if my son was not living in the uk. Now I keep getting phone calls and threatening letters from csa saying they are going to take me to court etc. I have phoned them several times and tried to explain it but they just say prove it. Apparently the problem may be occurring because she has not cancelled her child benefit claim. I have also contacted the benefits office and they said they will look into it but can't give me any information. Please help. I don't know what to do next. Thanks.
  10. Thanks for your help. We will give your suggestions a go and see what happens.
  11. Hi. I will try to keep this short. My fiance has been living with me for 12 years. He received a letter from Equidebt a couple of weeks ago attempting to contact him. Also had a couple of recorded telephone message left. Ignored everything. Today he has received another letter from them stating they have been instucted by Activ Kapital to collect £1500. These are the only times anyone has ever contacted him at this address. He can remember an outstanding loan he had but cant remember how much/who with. He has had no contact with anyone regarding this debt for at least 12 years, maybe longer. The thing we need to know is how will he know whether a ccj was taken out on him if it was over 6 years ago as we have read that it will not show on his file after 6 years. He has never received any paperwork. Was going to try a credit search but cant remember all of his previous addresses. Now we don't know what to do. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
