  1. For my amusement I have created some email addresses relevant to the DCA's pestering me. For example, cslcretins@, moorcroftmorons@, capquestclowns@, westcotwasters@ I have already sent mails to Westcot and CSL with my concluding line as follows; Please take not of my email address, this accurately reflects my opinion of your company. Lets see what the response is!
  2. Hello DD, in a state of shock here following a prolonged sleepover involving three 9 & 10 year old girls! a couple of glasses of wine should solve the problem!Anyway, Cap One, posts 167 & 172 (she mentions she is a lawyer, I assume barrister) from Chelsealove. All quiet otherwise, 23C up here on the coast, and no crowds, absolutely perfect! Re Barclaycard, I'm sure I can see my latest admirers off without too much of a problem. Much too laid back to take a pot shot at anything, although I have firearms licence and shotgun certificate I would under no circumstances ever have a gun of any sort at home, particularly with a young child and numerous inquisitive little friends!Much more importantly, how are you? I hope your previous business partnership issues are going your way.Best wishes, R
  3. Excellent advice Q, I will be a little more cautious in future!
  4. I have just prepared a compensation claim for £105 (£35 x 3) and will send by registered post to the idiots at Credit Security Ltd on Saturday.
  5. Yet another letter from Credit Security Ltd acting for Westcots who in turn are acting for BC! Should I continue to ignore or send the email below telling them to eff off? READ THIS CAREFULLY I refer to your threatening and intimidatory letters regarding an alleged debt, reference: ####### I have passed copies of these letters to the OFT and my local Trading Standards Officer. Regarding your threat of a doorstep collector - be advised any trespasser on our property will be removed in UNDER 5 SECONDS with whatever force necessary!!! Should an incident occur the police will be called. You will shortly receive by registered post a compensation claim of £35 per letter for the time taken to interpret and respond to your threats. Take note, if payment is not received within 14 days from receipt of my compensation claim I WILL take action to recover the debt in the Small Claims Division of the County Court. If you do not understand any of the above I suggest you hand it someone capable of interpreting simple correspondence.
  6. Trespass is a civil matter, I always assumed you could use minimum force to remove someone who is uninvited.
  7. Just to keep the Hippy amused! Credit Security are becoming increasingly exasperated by my lack of response to their threats. Their initial letter was full of statements such as "we demand" etc in large bold letters. Latest letter is slightly more begging! with a note if all else fails they will have to send one of their collectors around - looking forward to this! My strategy at present is no response to DCA drivel although some people on here respond to every letter with good effect, not really sure what the best course of action is.
  8. all this letter ping pong is pointless IMO I'm inclined to agree! I have two outstanding issues, Barclaycard and Cap One. I have responded abruptly to one DCA, can't remember which one. Other than a couple of letters to the OC's I have been very passive. I have definitely not highlighed any of their shortcomings such as DN's not giving me 14 days etc. My aim is a F&F settlement in due course.
  9. Hi Babydoll, I seem to remember seeing a previous post about your OH's card. Even if they are hacked together in the print room by the teaboy surely in the light of recent cases on here this would not matter. I'm as confused now as I was when I first posted on here over a year ago!
  10. Just reviewing my Cap One situation and noticed I have not had any contact from anyone for seven months! Last contact appears to be several Scotcall threatograms, all ignored! Previously, Fredricksons, Capquest and HL Legal have all had a go at this. I'm a little surprised, particularly in view of the previous poster Chelsealove's account of swift litigation by Cap One. In addition, it appears contesting a reconstituted CCA is becoming increasingly futile, a 28 day DN will not cause them any problems. My question is; what are they waiting for??? Anyone else with a Cap One agreement from 2005 - 2006 in a similar position? Just to add I'm delighted to be left alone and certainly not looking to preempt anything!
  11. I have received a response from these leeches stating they would remove my details but as they update systems every 4 weeks I will in all probability be listed again! particularly via a directors report including age, address, telephone number etc. I am happy for anybody to check my company, this information is in the public domain. However, they are not listing my company name, they are listing my personal details! Is there any definitive course of action under the DPA to stop these people?
  12. Some personal information on Cap One docs in post 1.
  13. think i have deleted all personal information but if i havent please let me know asap so i can amend. thanks Jacko, Some personal details still on your docs post 1.
  14. Lenny, I used the email on their site........ I'll give them 24 hours to respond then get a letter off to them. I would like to know what measures can be taken to ensure they comply. The last occasion this happened they informed me my details would reappear as the info was in the public domain......not good enough!!
  15. I assumed I had successfully removed my person details, directors report etc some months ago from this site via a combination of their COI form, a telephone call to a stroppy ignorant employee and a request under the DPA. How wrong I was! I now discover they are at it again! This is despite ticking the appropriate remove me box in the electoral roll. I have also been careful in providing personal details to anyone not legally entitled. I have just emailed the scumbags and advised them I have drafted a complaint to the ICO, with a copy to my MP. I was wondering if there are any definitive measures I could take to ensure permanent removal. I am seriously p####d off with these morons!
  16. 13 guests now eh! School boy error not signing in Rockwell! Not my first today!
  17. Hello guests! One of them is me! forgot to sign in Boo.
  18. if they do indeed ever darken my doorstep they will find i am no door mat. If they stick a foot in my door they will leave it behind them. Like your style Fusilier!
  19. I just received exactly the same as above! in 18 months my Barclaycard problem has been through Mercers, Calders, Moorcroft, can't remember the next one!, Westcot and now CSL. Another 12 months at this rate and I'll have been through every DCA in the UK!
  20. One particular Cagger who disappeared a few months ago comes to mind. His posts were becoming increasingly paranoid, various posts include references to departing the scene forever etc. Very sad to hear. I realise this is an open and anonymous forum but just wondering in extreme cases is it possible for someone on the team to give posters like this a nudge to see if everything is ok?
  21. Tingy, Am I being completely thick? I just can't see what they have to gain by doing this!
  22. Tingy, I am going to do exactly the same to Westcot regarding a Barclaycard problem. Also just received an idiotic letter from Credit Security Ltd acting for Westcot stating we demand you pay etc! all in big, bold letters. Also highlighted was County Court Judgement, debt collector calling at my property etc. Questioner - I like your approach on this issue. I guess the only danger would be costs, although you appear to have had some fun for your £90!
  23. Hi Happy, good to hear from you, is the girlfriend back from Oz yet? What do you do for fun when it's not the magic mushroom season down in Devon/Cornwall? They do love me! The letter came as above, with the words in large font bold, just to frighten and intimidate me. Well, now they are going to send a debt collector to my property, I'll just have to take my punishment like a man! Actually, I must compose a suitable response to my new admirers, any suggestions most welcome.
  24. Credit Security Ltd - who are these clowns? They refer to their clients as Westcott and Barclaycard. Just received a puerile missive (as Bazooka Boo would say) as follows; We demand you pay the sum outlined below immediately Failure to comply could result in a debt collector calling on you or a County Court Judgement being registered against you. I feel a £50 compensation claim coming on. Would appreciate some ideas from all you Caggers on a suitable response.
