  1. Thanks for the quick reply brother mason. The letter begins "You have contacted me/us regarding the account with the above reference number, which you claim is owed by myself/ourselves." But I do not have an account reference number?
  2. Hi guys thanks for allowing me use of the forum. Here is my grievance. Until July of this year I used virgin media for internet. When I moved house at the end of July I called to cancel my contract. I continued to receive post, so I called again to check they knew I had cancelled - and no, there was no record of my call...so I informed them, again, that I was cancelling. Then, to make sure they got the message, I went to the bank and stopped my direct debit standing order. This morning I got a phone call out of the blue from Moorcrofts debt collectors saying I owe £90 and if I don't make arrangements to pay immediately they will take it to court. They say they have sent a letter to my previous address on the 10th of this month with information - and because I didn't respond, I am liable... What do I do? Thanks in advance
