  1. That would be a great help? Im struggling to find an address for the data controller Many thanks
  2. Thank you very much, he even admitted on the telephone it was for one missed payment, I'm so angry, I will now be proceeding with a formal complaint to the date controller Once again thanks for your help
  3. Just a quick update, Spoke to someone in customer services, He was very abrupt and blank , despite me still being with Vodafone and the simple fact is i missed one payment which was paid the very next month of a whole £30 pounds not £300 as i thought, The default will infact remain on my credit file, destroying all hope of a morgage for at least another 3 years, Whats more i was never passed to a collection agency or issued a default notice, Apprently They don't have to issue one. According to the Vodafone customer service, its automatic and they can NOT remove a default , On leaving the conversation all he said was * well i got a morgage with a default* Nice ! Lets just say i will not be renewing my contract at the end of the month.
  4. Hi lee WRT135 - CAG [#10264094]‏ was the number given I tried to contact someone earlier VIA email, But all they gave me was details about my account i have now with you, This account is fine & up to date its my old account back from 2008 I have the query with Many thanks Michael
  5. I wonder if anyone can help, Back in 2008 i struggled with payments to vodafone but i eventually cleared my balance in 2008 of £300.00, I have just looked on my experian report to find Vodafone have defaulted me with a balance of "satisfied" I had no letters to say why? I now have to wait another 2 years for removal but i am recently married with two small children and very much wanted to apply for a mortage, This is the only late/Default on my credit rating everything else is all up to date . This is really getting me down, as i did pay the balance back in 2008 yet i have to wait 6 years for this to be removed, Is there anyway or advice to help me get the default removed? Thanks in advance
  6. After speaking to my father just now, He has just informed me that this is for an overdraft as stated and that it been £4000 from the start so only an extra £138.76 as been applied, There is no assets in the company either nor any guarantees, the company was running for 10 years plus. He also isn't a homeowner etc so has nothing to give etc.. Is it advisable to ring HSBC with a payment plan? Or simply ignore ( unless a claim form arrives) as he isn't actually liable and the limited company was? Thanks
  7. Right ok will print out a subject access request, I don't think wescot have brought the debt as ive just re-read the letter they say " We have been instructed by our client to recover the above outstanding debt" so i assume the debt is still with HSBC, so is my dad actually liable for the debt? because if is he i will ring HSBC on his behalf and try and sort out a payment plan and try & bin off wescot. I would have rung them sooner if my dad had told me about the letters unfortunatley hes getting on and retired ( because of illness) and push his debts to the back of him thinking the debts sink along with the company. Thanks
  8. Was the account covered by a directors personal guarantee? NO Was this a voluntary liquidation? NO , just ceased trading The debt is for £4138.76
  9. The company ceased trading January 2011, He stopped getting statments then, The Agency is Wescot service LTD-HSBC, No CCJ has been given as of yet. But they are threatening Baliffs thanks
  10. Hello all, Need some information for my dad... He was a director for a limited company but the company had money problems and ceased trading and has been closed down. HSBC are chasing him for an outstanding debt for an overdraft he had with his limited company. The Debt has now been sold to a debt collector who is now harrassing him. Can someone tell me if the director ( my dad ) is liable for the debt, or the limited company itself is liable? Many thanks
  11. I dont have the orginal agreement anywhere, all i know is the date i took the loan out and the amount, I know i need to send a standered letter but i'm not sure which company I should write to Any ideas? Thanks
  12. Hello I panicked over nothing, They came out and basically asked me if i had any change of circumstances, I said no as nothing has changed, I asked why they asked to which they said its just routine, they wrote this down and went on thier on way. I heard nothing since, But that was now over a year now , I am now married to man i was seeing and i dont need to claim anymore which im glad of ! Hope all goes well for you
  13. Just wondered if anyone can help me, I have a "Yearly" Review, I claim Housing Benefit & Council tax, Im currently a single mum with 2 children ( Recent baby of 4 weeks) Now they want to see my last 3 months worth of bank statements, Whilst i have no problem with it, They will see im getting Maternity Pay, Child benefit, Tax credits etc... BUT over the last few months my dad has been helping me out with lending me money to buy baby bits, Cot, Pram etc... Will they class what my dad has lent me as an "Income" ?? As hes paid credits in to my bank, all in all hes lent me about £600 over the past few months, It clearly states on my statement its from my dad, as in £150 here & there... I wasnt entitalted to Help with buying bits for baby as i did * or still do* work, But my maternity pay just wasnt enough to get me by, Is it a crime for parents to help out? Will it affect my benefits? Thanks
