  1. Hi, I'm hoping somebody might be able to give me some advice here.. Basically, lived in a shared house and moved out in June. We told the landlord to pay for our final electricity and gas bills and take the money from each of our deposits, which he did, and he sent each of us photocopies of the stamped paid bills. However, I've just been informed by one of my previous house mates that he has had a bill passed on for June-September - the landlord failed to tell them we'd moved out! This guy has left it until a threat of legal action to actually tell us, and I am ringing Southern Electric tomorrow to try to sort it out as they told him we had to pay regardless. I've read a few threads on here, but was wondering whether this is actually the case? We have our tenancy agreement and the paid bills as proof. Surely I can just get them to pass the bills onto the landlord if I give them his address? Any help or previous experience would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
