  1. I thought that I give this thread a bump up as I have found that Lowell/ Hamptons/ Red have been calling me on different numbers and would be good to let people know as they are not all landline numbers. 01133 086 000 07837 649 560 07891 672 091 07837 641 866 07837 671 293 Please be aware if any of these numbers show up on your caller ID.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply. I will get onto that to make sure.
  3. Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm a bit confused a bit worried what what info will show on a enhanced CRB check. I work for a retail store of which I had a manger who stole £6000 last year. A bit of background. He stole the money bit by bit taking the daily takings here and there. Unknown to myself he was taking the money the night before the cash collections by the security company and sealing the large banking bags. On a number of occasions I was the only manager in on that day so I would be the only to hand over the banking bag and sign the receipt to state that the monies had been collected from the store. To cut a long story short, I was sacked ( got my job back when I applied to ET - company backed down) , arrested and was on police bail for nearly 4 months. The manager who took the money finally confessed and was convicted and given a suspended sentence for the theft, I was 'released' if you can call it that. Now will this show up on a enhanced CRB check? My employer are saying it won't but I'm not sure.
  4. They are now sending text messgaes with the same offer and a link to their site. Received one this evening.
  5. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I was just about to make a topic about this! Just stepped in the door and I got one too. I like how they 'TRIED' to fool people by putting " If undelivered, please return to Howitt, PO Box 8174, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 5ZA Andrew Bartle is just so generous isn't he? I wonder what's in the hamper for the 1st 250 customers? Whole heap of lies and rubbish?
  6. Giving this a bump. Put the email on block but they are using different address to email, as I received another "Offers" email in my spam folder today. Another address to go into my filter settings.....
  7. Lets see if this works.. Edit* It's very small to what I uploaded but you see can see most if it.
  8. It went to my spam folder so I'm fine with that. I thought it was best that I let people know. Is there another way I can post the screen shot?
  9. I tried to do a search and see if there was a thread about this but there wasn't. Went into my spam folder and found this email.... Looks like they are trying whatever they can and hiding behind words to get people to contact them.:mad2 I have never given a DCA this email address but I must asume that they must of received it by other means, for example my bank. I didn't click on the link and I sent this to trash after I uploaded it. Just a heads up to let people know. Aunt Rene. EDIT* I don't have enough posts to upload the screen print. Sorry....
  10. I posted my reply as you were posting your notes. I see that they asked you if the stock was still in store of which you said yes. It's such a shame that they didn't give you the chance to take them to the store and show them that stock. Also as part of the investigation head office should of have asked for a stock count. Did they ever ask this of you before this meeting? The company I work for, stock control regularly email stores to do on the spot stock counts.
  11. OMG!!! I'm shocked that they have done this! I'm so sorry to hear this. You need to appeal against this now. At the bottom of your email there should be a part saying that you can appeal against this and who to appeal to, which is normally a director. You say that you have a clean work record put that in your appeal to them, along with other info you have to give you a strong case. Was you given FULL training? If not, that's a case in your favour too. These notes that you did not sign, again that's a strong case for you, if you took them to ET with that info the company could lose the case as they lied about a statement you made. I work in sports footwear and I cannot see how that is considered theft! Not following procedures with delivery discrepancies - yes but theft - no way!! I was sacked last year along with my store manager for not following company banking procedures after £6900 was stolen from my store. I got my job back as I put in a claim for unfair dismissal( The company were taking their time to get back to me for a appeal hearing so the clock was ticking and I wanted to get my claim in) with the fact like you I had a clean record and I had no formal training, they decided once they received a copy of my claim that a mistake was made and asked me what I would like. Unfortunately for them I wanted to come back and I did. My manager was too upset and angry - he took his lost earnings and bonus and moved on. The money was stolen by another manager who thought he got away with it... Until the police caught up with him. Get that appeal letter in and lets us know how you got on. GOOD LUCK! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
  12. Getting Housing Benefit payments is not cut and dry as it seems on the site. I appiled for HB last year, it took 3 weeks to get my first payment into my account. Some people can wait 3 months to get their first payment, of which would be back dated to the date the claim was made.
