  1. Did you take any proof of previous payments for your previous travel on the TFL network? The TFL may have evidence from your friend reporting the card stolen, your defence should be' why was it reported 'stolen' shortly after you were caught using it? Why wasn't it reported 'stolen' during the month or so, that you were actually using it? I take it you are awaiting a letter or Summons from them? You need update the thread with what they decide to do. Then you can consider writing to them again for an out of court settlement, a long shot, but worth doing. You are co-opera
  2. Excellent, how did you make the payment, Credit Card or Debit Card?
  3. Someone who is unwell could perceive it as being 'threatening', the company aren't covering themselves in glory, they seem to be reacting to events instead of managing them, i.e. Occupational Health providing support.
  4. Scottish Power:- With an economy 7 meter you get cheaper electricity during the night. This may be controlled by a timer in the meter itself, a separate timer or a radio signal. The actual times of the off-peak period vary, but you'll always receive at least 7 hours in each period of 24 hours at the cheaper rate. Please note that the times on the meter are always set to GMT and don't change when the
  5. Just picked N-Power at random:- Economy 7 - cheaper electricity at night The Economy 7 cheaper rate period typically falls 7 hours between 10pm and 8.30am, but that period can vary across the country. Most variations depend on the type of meter you have, and what time of year it is (British Summer Time etc). The easiest way to find out your exact Economy 7 hours is to look at your meter. Meters can vary, so on some meters it will tell you the hours next to the meter or on it. For other meters you will need to take a note of your supply number which you can find on yo
  6. Hi bill If they've stated OH again, that is certainly something that needs to be followed through this time. Also contact the Regional Office of the union, see if they can help. Unions are hit and miss. Also their other sources of info and help :- http://www.mind.org.uk/for-business/mental-health-at-work/ Knowing what the employer should be doing is useful:- http://www.mind.org.uk/media/43719/EMPLOYERS_guide.pdf
  7. It sounds like it's an Online Tariff, managed online, so you would think that information should be provided online.
  8. 'Finding Nemo', a bit late on that.
  9. Hi bill If the Union Rep is unhelpful then contact the Regional Office and seek help directly from them. Are Occupational Health involved? If not that is a consideration. I don't think your daughter should fear the letters that they send. You could consider responding for her, stating that she has seen the doctor, she unwell and has been signed off until XXXXX and that you are happy to keep them updated with her progress if thats acceptable.
  10. You make very vaild points, you shouldn't have to hunt for that information. Write a Letter of Complaint, mark it as such. Explain what's happened (You have economy 7) , how they have let you down (they won't inform you of the times) and what you want them to do (tell you the times, this is basic information that is needed if you are to benefit from the product). Send it to:- Mr Vincent de Rivaz Chief Executive EDF Energy UK vincent.derivaz@edfenergy.com
