  1. Thank you ell-enn and faded rose, but actually it's grandchildren. Our two daughters had their babies on the same day, one a girl and one a boy, so I wont be able to forget their birthdays. And I can look forward to their 1st birthday party here at home

  3. Hi there I would like to give an update on our hearing today. The judge granted us a suspension of eviction and accepted our offer of the monthly mortgage payment plus £75. Their solicitor wasn't happy that it would take the remaining term of the mortgage to pay off the arrears but the judge said "so what".. I would like to thank Ell-enn for all her help over the last traumatic few weeks, she really is an angel sent to help us mere mortals. I can not recommend this forum highly enough and i will continue to stay logged in even if only to offer words of comfort to other people w

  9. I have done the letter for the mortgage statement and I shall get in touch with the doctor in the morning for a statement about my husbands health problems. I will also fine tune the income and expenditure sheet and let you have a look to see what you think. thanks again

  14. Date is set for 28th October so need to submit the N244 ASAP. Do you submit the budget sheet with the application or take it when you go to court, as this would give me more time to make sure it adds up. Yes mortgage in joint names but there are no children, but as i mentioned in original post my husband has health issues, do i make an issue of this with the lender? I would have to find out about how much the monthly arrears charges are but £30 per month springs to mind. If the mortgage lender would allow us to go on interest only for a while it would allow us to pay more off the arrears
