  1. Does any1 know if i can claim again? I claimed over 6mths ago and they have still been charging me left, right and centre. I settled for a quarter of what they owed me last time but they have took another £950 since september. Has any1 claimed again on here?
  2. Does anyone know what markers are. i have just been informed by my bank, natwest, that I couldn't apply for an overdraft or any other credit from them as i have markers on my account??? if anyone knows what they are please fill me in and also tell me how to get them removed.
  3. Does anyone know if i can claim against a car wash? I had my car washed last week and the dryer has ripped my spoiler off. I went back and there is a sign although it is very low down the part where it says no spoilers. i think the sign should be where you pay for the token. Can anyone help???

    Help

Hi dpuk, I received one of those letters but mine was for £380 plus I have already had £100. I am giving up now though (drops head in shame) as i dont have the money to file a claim in court. I know this can be claimed back but I just dont have it. Good luck with whatever you choose. I am just happy i got almost half back.
  5. All my letters have been delivered thankfully Although I didn't need to request 6 years of statements. I just went for the kill as I am only going for the last 12 months as this is when my account became "delinquent" (so the banks say). I have already had £100 credited to my account and I am still pursuing the remaining £997.74. They have till 19th June to respond.

  7. Thanks. suppose i'll have to adjust the LBA???
  8. Dont know what to do? Firstly I wrote to Natwest to ask for list of charges (recorded of course) this letter was lost and was never signed for (Royal Mail say it's possible that they lost it or a signature wasn't gained). I decided to just go ahead and ask for charges from the past year as i have statements for this and this is the period where i was charged most. I have worked it out to £1059.74. I wrote to request this money back last week. I have received my post today with a bog standard letter saying "We are sorry you are unhappy blah blah blah then an explanation of all the fees and how they have included a complaints booklet and a charges booklet. Then it goes on to say they are willing to offer a goodwill gesture of £100 (10% blinking percent the cheeky b*******s). Obviously I am not accepting this but, I have just logged onto my bank account and low and behold the £100 has been paid in. What do I do? I knowI can write and accept this and then pursue the other amount but I am scared that if I withdraw any money they will see this as an acceptance? (I do have extra money on top of the £100 in my account)

    Court??

Has anyone in this group been to court yet? Or do they know someone who has been to court? Basically I want to know if anyone has won in court yet or are the banks to scared to go there with us????
  11. Sorry if this has been answered but I have looked in FAQ's and have put the search words Child Trust Fund and got nothing back. I am a customer of Natwest and I have a Savings Account, a Current Plus Account and a Loan Account and my daughter's Trust Fund Account. If I proceed with my claim for the current plus account can they close all the accounts. I am just concerned for my daughters trust fund as there is a substantial amount in there now.
  12. Ohhh were all in the same place with Natwest. A couple of years ago I was on income support as i was out of work and had just had a baby. I ended up in hospital and a direct debit didn't clear. I rang Natwest when I got out and they said i should have got someone else to put the money in. I explained I was extremely poorly and the last thing on my mind was money and they just basically said what do you want us to do. I am so happy that this has all been brought to the surface. I estimate that in the last 6 years they have had approx. £3000. I have just looked on my account today and they have bounced a cheque for £40 because there was only £37.87 in my account and now they've charged me £38 which has taken me into the red and they will now charge me another amount at the end of next month because they've took charges. Its a vicious circle that i'm finding it very difficult to get out of.

Instead of posting this can i go into my branch and request that they give me the information there and then. It's just I live very local to my branch.

    Ooooops...

I used the templates from which.co.uk to ask for my last 6 year statements but when they asked for £10 I thought this was absurd, I have internet banking so i decided to do a transaction search on all charged and this gave me details back to January which total approx. £1000. I am on a low income and can only afford to work part-time due to nursery fees for my daughter. I decided that instead of asking for the whole amount over the last six years which is probably in the region of £4000-£5000, i would just pursue the charges applied to my account over the last year (didn't want to seem cheeky). Now i have read all the posts of people who are claiming the whole lot and i was wondering could i change my mind and decide to claim the whole lot???? My bank is NATWEST.
