  1. Hi, after a sending another letter to Barclaycard I have received my statements etc for my current morgan stanley mastercard but they have sent me no info on my old visa card (they have suspended my mastercard "due to the position of my other account"). They have not provided any info for my old account which I am keen to claim back charges of over £2000.00. They have not even acknowledged this account at all yet they have debt collectors chasing me for money. They have also not provided a signed CCA just the terms and conditions. Pls help me with where I stand and what to do n
  2. Thanks so much for your help! Letter sent to Barclaycard yesterday, we'll see what happens!
  3. Hi, pls can anyone help me with my case! I sent a SAR and £10 cheque to Barclaycard for a default Visa account from a few years ago, and also the Morgan Stanley Mastercard I had which they took over. They replied by firstly sending me a copy of the terms and conditions then a copy of the credit agreement (not the original I signed) and only for my current card, not the old one. I know I have over £2000.00 worth of charges in particular on my old visa card, so am keen to get my statements and make a claim. Can anyone help me with what letter to send back to them as I have trie
  4. Hi.. Please help me! Sorry for the long boring post! I took out a Morgan Stanley credit card a few years back, and Barclaycard have since taken over the account. My limit was £1800.00 + I managed to get £1000.00 together to pay towards the bill, hoping to use the credit again. Barclays immediately decreased my limit to £800.00. Argued my point forever to no avail.. Anyway that was quite a while ago. I have now received a statement saying my (ex Morgan Stanley) account has been suspended (even though within credit limit and up to date) due to my other account. This is a Barclaycard I ha
  5. Jansus thank you so much for your help, he will send in the letter as you advised recorded delivery today. Fingers crossed and thank you again!
  6. I need advice please help! Early September I attended court and had a suspended possession order put on my home. We are hopefully able to adhere to the order but our mortgage company, Accord, have added so many charges £900+ with interest every month that our agreed monthly arrears payment does not even cover what they charge us monthly! Is there anything I can do to dispute the charges or can they basically charge what they want now we are in arrears (4 months - £3300 and counting)?????
  7. Hi, I was required to attend court early September (my first time) as I had accrued 4 months mortgage arrears. I gathered so much evidence against my mortgage company with regard to their negligence and failure to adhere to 'mortgage rules' yet none of this mattered when it came to the court appearance. The only thing that mattered was that we had thankfully gained written agreement to pay a certain amount back per month toward the arrears. This was enough to postpone their possession claim as long as we adhered to this amount. This amount was only 31.60 on top of a mortgage whic

  9. jansus thank you so much for your reply. I am terrified his mortgage co. take him to court - as Accord did to me. They tried their best to take my home from me, thankfully I 'escaped' with a suspended order but I'm scared his mortgage company will take him to court. If they do he has no defense - he can't afford full payments. His co. is Birmingham Midshires and they are not prepared to offer him reduced payments or interest only (which he would prefer). Any advice would be so helpful and amazingly appreciated! Thank you.
  10. No he didn't receive any redundancy - he worked for a really small company (only 3 of them) and the other two got together and put him out of a job.. I wish I could help him but I've already got a suspended possession order on my flat....
  11. Hi, I would appreciate advice on behalf of my dad who recently lost his job. He is 60 now and finding it more a bit difficult to get another job. His mortage co. agreed to accepting interest only payments for a very limited time (he has no money available to pay his mortgage at all). Now they are demanding full payment. He can dispute this in writing to them, but is unsure how to go about it / what his rights are. He has lived in the house since 1994 and there is only 10k left owing. He wants them to accept a longer period of interest only payments - poss until 2012/2013. He the
