To arrange a home visit you need to contact atos and ask for the fax number to give your doctor so he/she can then fax a letter stating that the person requires a home visit and the reason why. MrH

Not trying to fail, But the doctor was adding more to the report as in hinting that I should add this and that, As I've said don't want to go into too much detail but doctor added even more It was like the doctor was making sure I passed the medical and at the end also hinted that I have passed and have nothing to worry about.

Thought I would post a positive one or at least I hope the outcome is a good one, Not going to go into great detail on a open fourm, But medical went like this not word for word but you will get the idea, Doctor turns up and asks a few questions and starts to write a few things down now this is where it gets strange but fun, Doc: Do you pass out at all Me: No never passed out in my life Doc: Well with what you suffer with I would expect a person to pass out at least once a week Me: Nope as I've said I've never passed out Doc: Infact I would expect a person who suffers with that you have pass out at least once a day at least Me: Well now you come to mention It I do pass out at least once a day if not more Doc: Thought so Doc now writes down that I pass out at least once a day, Doc then asks a few more questions not many then next It's, Doc: I see your on this medication I bet your like a zombie after taking that Me: No It does nothing for me I feel fine Doc: Are you sure you don't feel like a zombie and are unable to even think straight even function at all as In do most things Me: Well I suppose I do doc Doc: Good I though you did Doc to partner: So you have to do everything for him then Partner: Yes I have to do almost everything for him Doc now writes down I am a zombie for most of the day and unable to function for most part, Me and partner are looking at each other thinking wth MrH

Sent mine off on the 1.6 and heard nothing until the other day when i phoned them, Seems they are unable to find someone to do a home visit, So don't worry too much seems they are so busy and have a bit of a backlog.

I think everyone maybe different my sister in the support group as been told by letter that her next medical will be in two years time, If it helps this is for mental health problems (She's not that mental either ) Ok just got off phone to sister it's 18 months until her next medical, Phone call from ATOS was last Friday she got the letter off DWP this Thursday.

I'm Agoraphobic and cannot leave the house, About to go through ATOS medical which I've had in the past but not sure it was ATOS as i've always had to have a home visit, I've never failed a medical as of yet so not going out because of panic attacks is a good enough reason, If it helps try claiming DLA as you should be able to get the lower rate of mobility and care as I do.
