Hi, My wife had a contract hire car through Nationwide Vehicle contracts financed through Lombard. She has had the car for getting on for 3 1/2 years. The company (Lombard) came to pick it up the other week and one of the guys said there were dents and scratches on it we've never noticed, apart from my wife reversing into a low wall which scraped the rear bumper. He printed out a receipt for the car which stated these damages... REAR BUMPER SCRATCH OSF DOOR DENT NSR WING DENT NSF DOOR SCRATCH BONNET DENTS NSF WHEEL TRIM MARKED OSF WHEEL TRIM MARKED We then got a letter from Lombard These were Now Not on this letter... NSR WING DENT NSF DOOR SCRATCH OSF WHEEL TRIM BUT there were 2 more added... ROOF DENTS and OSR WING poor repair, dirt in paint They said unless we hear from you in 15 working days they will raise a invoice for the work to be done. I sent a letter to them asking where we can inspect the car and at what time. As I got no reply I sent an e-mail. Still no reply. I don't want them to say they've never received the letters and send us a bill. What should I do next anything, or just wait for them to get in touch. We have no problem in paying for the bumper repair but will challenge the rest! Best, Steve
