  1. Well, just got back and all went better than expected. Natwest sent nobody to represent them and the judge agreed the original determination of £95 was ridiculous given my finances, she agreed to the £1p/m offer and after 5 minutes I was on my way home.
  2. Thanks supa snooper. I forgot to say in my opening post that I would trying to fight my way through the mass of info in some of the many threads as alongside my own thread. I'll have a read of that.
  3. Thanks, I have already a few pre-filled budget sheets that have been sent out to various creditors and debt collection agencies. I was after any other advice as to what to expect maybe, and how charging orders work should they push for one. Thanks
  4. It is for a loan and overdraft combined debt. I don't question the validity and wouldn't waste my time try to. I intend to go bankrupt in the not too distant future, all I was doing was trying to buy myself more time to find alternative accomodation.
  5. I'm confused now I was ordered to pay a monthly payment of £95 (beginning on the 20th august) of which I can't afford so I requested a redetermination, the hearing is on the 15th sept, so far I haven't paid anything.
  6. Well I asked for a redetermination on the basis of me not being present for the first one and seeing as the judgement was made with me not present (court was miles away) I am entitled by law to ask for a redetermination at a local court so I can be present, hence the questions in my post. I thought this was a common occurance? or so I was lead to believe.
  7. Hi, bare with me I'm new! I have a CCJ redetermination hearing on the 15th sept and would like a bit of advice if possible. The original repayment set by the court was for £95 p/m of which I can't get anywhere near. I sent a national debtline budget sheet with my original response but it didn't seem to make any difference. The debt is for £21.5k. I have been off work with bipolar disorder for 18 months and my income is £80 p/w. after my mortgage payments and other essential bills I literally have nothing left. I currently pay 3 token payments of a £1 p/m to other creditors. I'm not holding out much hope of the judge accepting a token payment on such a large debt and expect a charging order. If they seek a charging order can it be enforced within a time period? Any advice as to what to expect would be much appreciated, plus if you need any more info I'll do my best. Cheers, M.
