Hi,i was wondering if anyone could help with my problem. Here goes then,Around 9years ago i seperated from my ex wife.So that she and my new born daughter could remain in the house we lived in i took on all our debt.I got an unsecured loan from the bank for £15,000 and made the first payment after which my life took a turn for the worst and i ended up homeless and unemployed for 2 years. I never heard a thing from the bank or anyone else for that matter regarding the debt nor did i have any contact or make any further payments.now after nearly 9 years i have had letters from various companies like thames credit,aktiv kapital etc etc all stating different amounts and none of them stating clearly what the debt is for or from who they are working for.im terified to make any contact as its taken all this time to get on my feet.people are offering advice and saying that its time lapssed and not to worry but i cant sleep at night for wondering about it.Ive since got a bank account with a new bank and a small loan and even car finance so i thought it had been written off.i know its all my own fault but i need help so please if anyone knows anything drop me a thread thank you.
