  1. Nothing from HP. yay is a certain as there has been no HP purchases in the past 10 years. So it's not on way to HP
  2. RM apply a tracking number at the point of dispatch. I have that number as I have a receipt from them. I have given them that number but they say they can't tell me where they delivered it to except NDC - That is what I was hoping someone might be able to tell me - Where that is? Can I Contact them?
  3. I am sure it has. I just need to know where the RM delivered it to. I can then contact the recipient and ask them to return it at my cost.
  4. BankFodder. Yes I have completed the on line "claim" for lost item on RM web site but I don t think I will win that as they can prove it was delivered. Now I accept they delivered it and obviously to the address I sent it to. My problem is that they don't seem to know or want to tell me to where it was delivered. The declared value was £345.00 and the item was meant to be sent as a return for a new size but it didn't go back to the company I bought it from. Thats it! Surely RM have a duty to know where they sent a "Tracked" item to? T_T
  5. BankFodder- Thanks . Brown leather jacket, Sent using a pre paid "returns label" via the Royal Mail Tracker 48 and the full value was declared at the time of sending to Post office counter. The track web site says it was delivered by NDC RDC at 02:09 on 6 January 2021 but no one in RM seems to know where to! T_T
  6. Thank you all for prompt responses. Manxman - Yes I also found the HP/Cycleon reference . But also the same post code is Cycleon/Michael Kors. I have it down to Cycleon and they are based in Amsterdam. My problem is trying to identify who I can contact at the NDC in the UK to say " Hi, This reference number on the RM tracking receipt - Can you tell me who you sent it to". I cannot find anyone or any contact at this so called NDC. If I could ask at this NDC where that tracking number was sent to which retailer then I can call them. As far as it being no one else fault but my own - First, Thanks for that. I kind of know I made a mistake. However, someone has a £345 jacket that doesn't belong to them. It's not like I left it on a park bench or in the Pub ( Some hope these days). No one is accepting responsibility or even trying to answer a simple question " where did you deliver it to?" I was hoping that someone may have had a similar problem trying to track down the NDC and could help with a contact.
  7. I wonder whether anyone here can help me with this issue. We returned an item which was purchased on line as a Christmas gift due to the size being wrong. The Christmas present ( A leather jacket - £345.00) was unworn and was sent back to what we thought was the address of the seller company but, according to them they do not use Royal Mail Tracked for their returns only DPD so it is possible we attached the wrong "returns" label to the parcel. This is where our problems start. We have proof of posting and proof of value of the item. We can also see that the item was delivered to "an address" 2 days later (from the Royal Mail track and trace web page) . The address on the post office receipt says "National Distribution Centre XX40 1EH". The On Line Tracking says it was delivered to "NDC RDC Delivery at 02:09 on 6 January 2021 ( 2 days after posting). Our problem is that no matter how much searching or banging on the desk at the local PO ( point of sending) no one seems to know where NDC RDC Delivery is and no one has any contact details for any one at the location NDC XX40 1EH. I suspect the parcel was sent with a return label to another company which offered free returns in one of the other Christmas gifts. If I could track where the item was delivered to I might be able to track down the jacket and either get it returned ( I am prepared to pay the return cost) or seek some compensation. HELP PLEASE ........... :-(( Taffy.
  8. I was...... Is there a reference to QK's case at the FOS that we can refer to?
  9. Georgie2105. Fascinated to read your thread regarding Nat West. Exact;ly the same thing has happened to me. Last payment I can say for certain made to NW was March 2010 but a default was applied in March 2012...... I am going to do exactly as you did to see what response I get. I wonder whether you have heard from them further or recieved any additional information from them?\\Good luck Taffy Taylor
  10. A scan of what they sent me in response to the CCA request. Does this prove the debt? and satisfy the CCA requirement or is it an application form?
  11. I sent them the request in August 2013 and they replied with a photocopy of an application for a Skycard in April2014. I dont understand your statement of they have yet to prove their claim yet….. Sorry I will scan up what they have sent me They claim that i made my last payment in May 2008 but then it continued via a debt managment plan. i do recall i made payments to payplan up to April 2009 and i assume because they claim so that they received payment from a dip until 2009. At that time i had moved abroad.
  12. I posted this last week but I think it got all lst with earlier posts of mine. Anyway, Helpful advice is welcome! claimform MKDP in the past week. I have acknowledged the claim via the website MCOL found on this forum. I have completed the information you have thoughtfully posted here and i have included this below. I will also send a CPR 31:14 to them tomorrow. I have ben talking to them via recorded letters for a few months and have already asked them for a copy of the original CCA and they sent me a copy of a "SkyCard Application Form" but this has all the usual statements you expect to see on an agreement form. So I dont know whether this is correct I will scan and remove details if anyone here thinks this will help. I have also asked them for a statement of account which they say they have sent to me but i have not received. I ned this as I belive the last payment i made directly was May 2008. In my last communication to them I sent a second request for a statement of account. Next Item from them after a 6 month delay was the claim formicon. Claimant - MKDP LLP Date of Issue - 24 Jul 2014 The Claim - is for unpaid credit card account monies 11,890;87 being monies due from the defendant to the claimant under a regulated agreement originally between defendant and Barclaycard.Account was assigned to claimant on 15/12/2011, notice has been provided to defendant. Defendant failed to make payments etc etc Value of the claim £12,300.87 The claim is for Credit Card Debt and I cannot confirm whether interesticon or other charges have been added as not statement of account has been supplied. I entered into the original agreement , according to the application form they sent me on the 20 June 2006 The claim is issued by the DCAicon MKDP not Barclaycard I was not aware the account had been assigned to MKDP. I did not recieved a default notice from the original creditor as I had moved abroad and no longer resided at the address. The account mangement broke down in May 2008 when I moved yet Barclaycard did not place a default notice on my credit file for over 18 months IE January 2010. I have not received statutory default reminders annually as i had moved from that address I ceased payments as I was not able to afford them due to various personal money disasters that started in 2008 There was no dispute with the original creditor that remains unresolved. I just couldn't afford the payments I entered into an arrangement with PayPlan who it appear may have been paying Barclaycard up to April 2009. Albeit a fraction of what was needed per month. I Have told MCOL that i intend to dispute the claim but i dont know whether i can. I hate the fact that there has been a default on my file for 4 years and now it looks like a CCJ for another 6 !!! What are the odds on MKDP canceling this and settling for a fair offer ? Any help or advice would be helpful……….. PLEASE Thanks TT

  14. I returned to the UK this year for work. I still own a house in Ireland which is not worth selling given the state of the Irish housing market. So its rented out and I now rent in the UK. I have no assets here except a salary !
  15. I sent a Recorded letter to MK telling them to remove the default as advised by numerous threads on here. I have given them 14 days, so let's see what happens. I moved abroad in June 2008 and the other 2 default entries are dated November 2008. If I didnt receive these notices can I query them? Or should I just suffer this until Nov 2014 say absolutely nothing that might signify acknowledgement of the debts and let them disappear ? Getting better every day ! TT
  16. Thanks all for your comments. Ia m thinking a letter giving them a week to remove the default from my name with Equifax plus include a £10 for a data information to see exactly what it is they think they have. Can I get them to remove the default having given them enough time. What is enough time ? Regards to all T_T
  17. One further point. They told me that the last payment they recieved on this account was 21/4/2009 and the alleged default was placed on the account on the 27/1/2010- 9 months kater. Didnt i read on here somewhere that they should do this within 6 months?.......just a thought.
  18. Some advice please. I have 3 default notices on my credit file with Experian and one of these I have no knowledge of. I contacted the DCA ( MKDP) on the 1st June 2013 and placed a query on the debt as I have never had a Barclaycard. The entry on Experian has since been marked with a "Query" entry. I received a letter from MKDP on 17 July 2013 which was quite apologetic about the length of time taken as "we are still unable to resolve your query" and "we are liaising with the original creditor" How long can they keep me hanging on for an answer, it's now 2 months and if they cannot resolve it, can I force them to remove the "default" entry. Thanks for any help you can offer. T_T
  19. I received a letter from "MK Rapid Recoveries" regarding a debt on a Barclaycard which I have never had. They have indeed put a default notice on my credit file. anyone know how to rectify that? ( sorry never had this before)
  20. One more question.......... Should I write back and remind them of their obligations irrespective of the lack of signature or should they know that ? TT
  21. Thanks for your response it confirms all that I have read here. One of the resposes says that the data they hold (address) is different to the one on the CCA request and therefore they require a signature. I figured this was a reasonable request until I remembered that they have all been given my new address by payplan (in Breach of DPA if you ask me). Should I sign a new request or just wait. as far as record of service is concerned. Those that have refused pending a signature have sent my letter back with their received date stamp on it So to sign or not to sign that is the question (?) Thanks again TT :?
  22. My partner and I left the UK and settled in Ireland as she was made redundant and I had retired ( She is from these fair shores). We had some debts and tried to sort these out before we left. The bank threatened all manner of things (NWB) and we were put in a position where we accepted their solution, a loan to pay off the overdrafts. The other matters (9 in total) a mix of credit cards and loans we started to pay a minimum amount. The solution will/would take us 26 years to pay back. I started to read the postings here and sent off cca requests to all (except the bank) to see if there were any way to turn the tide in our favour. I sent the letters (with postal orders) and:- 2 are saying the letter wasn't signed so they don't need to comply. According to other threads I read here, signatures can be copied. Where do I stand here. 2 have sent back what apears to be legitimate agreements. I will scan them and post here for your advice. 1 sent me a copy of terms and conditions. kept the PO What next ? 1 returned the letter and postal order saying the address is different and the letter is not signed so sorry......... not complying. Help ??? 1 kept postal order and said no signature so re submit. The cheek So I need help and confidence boost to carry on. My questions are. Do the letters need to be signed ? Is the Terms and conditions enough ? Can someone look at my scans (minus details I know) and advise? Thanks. Lastly and just as a side issue. I had dealt with Payplan on this they are the only people with my Irish address. I have been advised that Payplan have informed all the creditors of my new address. Can they do that? They didnt ask me if they could. I was told "Good morning, I can see that you updated us with your Irish address in September 2008 unfortunately I cannot see anywhere where you advised us not to pass this address onto your creditors. As I previously advised to complete security checks with your creditors for data protection we must hold the same address as your creditors, kind regards XXXXXX" Many many thanks for any advice and help Regards Taffy
  23. I would like to get a consensus of what would be acceptable in the following circumstances as far as the time scales are concerned. I have UK debt but now live permanently in Rep of Ireland. If I send the CCA letters I can still use the recorded postage from here. The reply might be a bit different. If anybody has any experience of rural post in Ireland you will know what I mean. How should I judge the correct time. 12 plus an extra 7 say or go by the date of their reply? (Should I bother at all I have been told its not enforceable if I dont live in UK anyway.......... too honest i guess) Thanks. TT
  24. Hi Investigator, i appreciate your information and advice. I had thought that, as I have been approved for a mortgage here (small one) and that passed np. The question is how do I get the debt to go away and allow me to walk down the street without constantly looking over my shoulder. Are you saying they cant touch me here? i have been told in another forum that they cant get a CCJ against me as I am no longer resident in UK (True ?) but that would need me showing my hand and revealing my new address - which they dont have unless payplan give it to them (data protection act ?) Thanks for all your help TT
  25. In June 2008 I moved permanently from the UK to Republic of Ireland. (Bad start Huh. Whats the difference between Ireland and Iceland ---1 letter and about 3 months) Sorry! I moved here with the family and though redundancy and retirement I had and left quite a bit of unsecured debt with loans and CC's plus some Bank OD's all with UK companies. I contacted pay-plan and they did a wonderful job in arranging reduced payments with all the creditors. I have sent £350 a month back to my bank in the UK (NWB) at quite some cost in international transfers. I took the approach that i/we got into this mess so its our responsibility to get out of it. The recession is very deep here and work is not that secure or frequent. As a result the UK bank have asked that i close the account and pay them the overdraft back. This has caused the payments to payplan to stop and now they (PP) are asking me to increase the monthly to make up the arrears. I need to reduce them, not increase them as things here are getting worse. I contacted the UK bank and they said "as it is no longer being serviced with a salary cheque etc then the account has been moved to our "Risk management centre"and they want the whole amount repaid." I argued my case and they changed their tact and said "OK, we will consolidate the od's into 1 loan at 8% and an arrangement fee of £250 or we close them and take enforcement action." I cannot pay payplan in euro they wont take it so I cant send them money direct from here without exchange costs and sending cash through the post, which they have asked me not to do. I may now have to take the bank loan to keep the account open in order to service the payplan account and try to catch up the arrears at a time when money is reducing. I have few options but one is to put 2 fingers up to them all and say I tried to play ball when on my knees and you F***ed it up for me. But if they sell the debt to and Irish DCA then it could be a big problem as people go to prison over here for evading debt I am told. However with the Country on its knees would a DCA buy it? Or I may be able to make a one off gesture payment in a final go away offer (can I do that) I want to get rid of the debt as soon as i can and have a small lump sum that i am thinking of offering. We dont intend returning to the UK (unless absolutely necessary) for another 5 years at least. BTW the only people who know where I now live are payplan. what should I do? All advice is received with gracious thanks TT
